Summer smiled at everyone as they arrived. "Hi! So today, we're gonna start planning for our first service project. Majority says we'll be helping to improve the nature trails in the preserve. Which means we should probably start planning how exactly to do that."

"Obviously, it's too cold now, but spring will be here in a few weeks," she continued. "So that seems like the ideal time to do this. Also, we still need to plan a fun social activity. I think most of you were interested in a movie night with shirtless boys. And glitter."

She pointed to a nearby table. "There's pizza and baked goods over there. Feel free to mingle and stuff."

"I was wondering, how big exactly is the preserve? Does anyone know? It would be sort of neat to set up binoculars - you know the kind that are in national parks? And anyone could gaze at the wildlife that you couldn't get close up enough to see good." It was just an idea, and actually, Annette wasn't sure if those sorts of things were permitted or if they were already on the preserve.
