Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting, Tuesday [6:00 PM FHT]

Summer smiled at everyone as they arrived. "Hi! So today, we're gonna start planning for our first service project. Majority says we'll be helping to improve the nature trails in the preserve. Which means we should probably start planning how exactly to do that."

"Obviously, it's too cold now, but spring will be here in a few weeks," she continued. "So that seems like the ideal time to do this. Also, we still need to plan a fun social activity. I think most of you were interested in a movie night with shirtless boys. And glitter."

She pointed to a nearby table. "There's pizza and baked goods over there. Feel free to mingle and stuff."

"We should probably get a group together to talk to the Mayor," Marie said. "And maybe some people should research the wildlife and plantlife so we know what we're dealing with."

As soon as Willow heard the word 'research' her hand shot up into the air.

It was a reflex, really.

Marie couldn't help but giggle. "I guess you're interested in doing research?"

"Don't make me cut someone to get on the research team," Willow said. "Because I so will."

"Trust me, Will. After yesterday? I'll make sure you get whatever you want," Marie said.

Willow grinned. "There was fun-having?"

Marie grinned back. "Uh huh. Um... I think there might be fun-having tonight, too, if that's okay with you."

"More than okay," Willow said. "I'll be in Peter's room if you need me."

"Thank you," Marie said.

"I wouldn't mind being on the representative team to go speak with the mayor," Turtle offered. "I could definately put together some finance reports when we get a better idea of what we're going to be doing, put together a finance report, to show how cost effective it can be if we do it as opposed to the city itself."

"Oh, that would be fantastic," Marie said. "We'll have to figure out exactly what we want to do and price things first. Maybe we can ask some of the businesses in town to donate either money or items we'll need for the project."

Turtle grinned. "Turtle & Sundries can definately donate supplies," she nodded. "'Course, we might want a bit of a sponsering bid for the donation, maybe a mention on a plague or something if we put one up. You know, one of those 'The Paths of the Fandom Wildlife Preserve were Helped Maintained by Alpha Beta Gremlin sorority' things. Which I also think should definately be included."

"Awesome," Marie smiled. "And, ooh, Xander has a handyman business. I wonder if we could get him to help if we need to build stuff, like benches or whatever."

"I wouldn't mind asking business to donate," Summer offered.

Marie nodded. "I'm thinking committees for the different ideas we have. Maybe you can be in charge of that committee?"

"Totally works for me," Summer replied.

"Yay! Turtle said that her store would be able to donate stuff. And Xander might be able to help if we decide to build benches or anything. Um... we'll have to make a list of the businesses in town and figure it out. Or you and your committee will."

Summer nodded. "We'll definitely get it all figured out."

"I can help with research, if you need it." Tori offered, with a smile. She noticed Marie's lack of gloves and raised an eyebrow.

Marie grinned. "That would be awesome. Willow's interested in research, too. Do you know her?"

Tori smiled, glad to be of help. "Great. I believe we've met before, maybe? ~~I can't remember, gah! Oh! The last meeting they kind of did, sort of?~~" She remarked. Yay for a research buddy!!

"She's my roommate," Marie said. "And she's totally awesome."

"Very cool." Tori grinned brightly. "I'll take your word for it."

Marie grinned back. "So are you excited about New York?"

"Oh, I cannot wait!" Tori laughed. "I am so excited!" She nodded, smiling. "How about you?"
