Forensic Science Fifth Period - Wednesday 2/21

The danger shop was set up as normal, with Abby perched on a lab table watching as the students entered. "I will pay anyone cash money for video footage of my fellow teachers being all cute and tiny."

"I was really impressed with how everyone did last week. This week we're back to learning some forensic techniques." Abby turned on the overhead and started talking about testing items for drug residue. "We've done food toxicology before but a lot of people die from exposure to drugs that they didn't ingest. I've seen drugs that were smoked, drugs that were on fabric and drugs sprayed into the face. You'll have to check for everything."

"Let's get to the crime scene." Abby said, moving to open the door. "Our dead guy was found in a hotel room, surrounding by what looks to be the remains of a very fun night. The reporting parties were 3 women who are being held for questioning."

The door led to a very cheesy hotel room, complete with red furnishings, mirrors and a large circular bed where a dead Dick Casblancas lay, shirtless and covered up to his waist by red silk sheets. Abby rolled her eyes at how low Dick had pushed the sheet and pointed to her students. "Go find the bad guy!"

Dick didn't look at all ashamed by his lack of clothing. He did in fact, have a grin on his face.

"Rich heir dies in a hotel bed?" says Dick. "Cover of InTouch magazine, easy."

"Too bad you're too dead to appreciate it," Parker sympathized. "Or get any more 'touch' out of it. Any idea what time you died, or of what?"

"Four in the morning. I've got stamina." says Dick, grinning. "That is until I died of a heart attack."

"Hello." says Dick. He scooted up the bed a little. Silky sheets made you slide. "Heart attack."

"Dude, look around. I don't see how I couldn't die happy here." says Dick. "I'm pretty comfortable. Other than the fact I'm dead of course."

Mac wrinkled her nose as she looked at half-naked Dick. "Hi Dick, when did you die?"

"Four in the morning." says Dick. He looked up at Mac to see her face. "You wrinkle your nose at me but I can tell you're impressed with my awesome bod."

"Yeaaah." She looks a rather skeptical, but this could be because it's Dick, and she has a predisposition to dislike.

She made a quick note of the time of death on her worksheet. "Cause of death?" she continued, making an effort not to dwell on the subject of his half-nakedness.

"I died at four am of a heart attack." reports Dick matter-of-factly. "No real injuries other than some rug burns and hickeys. Maybe a love bite or two."

Ami made notes on her handout. "Alright, and um, what sorts of things did your skin come into contact with other then the rug? Also, stomach contents?"

Lana smiled at him. "Hey, Dick. Thanks for playing dead for us, though it looks like you're having a pretty good time. So, time and cause of death? Any other injuries, things you came in skin contact with, stomach contents?"

"Straight to business, I like that. Gives me hope that you'll find my killer." says Dick, smiling. "I died around four in the morning of a heart attack. No real injuries other than some hickeys and rug burn. I have a small amount of strawberries, whipped cream and champagne in my stomach. Oh, and my skin is covered in strawberry scented lotion."

"Feel free to swab me. Just don't be sticking that q-tip in any inappropriate places. I've been through enough." he says, giggling.

Lana smiled again. "Well, I figure it's bad enough having to give the same info to a million people without having it dragged out. Thank you and I'll do my best to find your killer, though it certainly looks like at least you died happy!"

Rikku giggled. "So, uh, what was the cause of death? Any suspicious injuries that aren't, y'know, related to your activities? If we ran a tox-screeny-thing, would we find anything?"

She grinned. "Any chance you just wore yourself out? Looks like you were pretty busy last night."

"Uh, I'm fairly sure I'm dead." says Dick. "That's what the teacher says anyways. It was of a heart attack. No suspicious injuries but I am covered in strawberry scented lotion. And they only thing you'd find in my stomach would be strawberries, whipped cream and champagne."

"Are you by any chance on a caffeine high?"

"No serious injuries other than some hickeys and rug burns. I died of a heart attack though." says Dick. "I'm covered in lotion though. Feel free to swab my arm."
