Forensic Science Fifth Period - Wednesday 2/21

The danger shop was set up as normal, with Abby perched on a lab table watching as the students entered. "I will pay anyone cash money for video footage of my fellow teachers being all cute and tiny."

"I was really impressed with how everyone did last week. This week we're back to learning some forensic techniques." Abby turned on the overhead and started talking about testing items for drug residue. "We've done food toxicology before but a lot of people die from exposure to drugs that they didn't ingest. I've seen drugs that were smoked, drugs that were on fabric and drugs sprayed into the face. You'll have to check for everything."

"Let's get to the crime scene." Abby said, moving to open the door. "Our dead guy was found in a hotel room, surrounding by what looks to be the remains of a very fun night. The reporting parties were 3 women who are being held for questioning."

The door led to a very cheesy hotel room, complete with red furnishings, mirrors and a large circular bed where a dead Dick Casblancas lay, shirtless and covered up to his waist by red silk sheets. Abby rolled her eyes at how low Dick had pushed the sheet and pointed to her students. "Go find the bad guy!"

The hotel room is full of the regular hotel items, plus leftovers from the party like blindfolds, handcuffs, whip cream, strawberries and champagne

Rikku giggled madly while sorting through the evidence. And picked things up very carefully, to preserve evidence. Also in case of - anything she didn't want to know about. How authentic were these scenes, anyway?

Billy took samples of the whipped cream, strawberries and champagne, and also one of the blindfolds. He took some chocolate syrup as well.

After looking around the crime scene it's no surprise that Dick died with a smile on his face.

Parker tested the strawberry lotion for anything else, and frowned. "Hmmm. Ugh."

Lana tested the strawberry body lotion as well as the champagne and strawberries. She tried to put together the rest of the information as well as she could to see how the whole scenario had played out.

Ami tested the strawberry lotion as well as the champaign and the strawberries from the stomach contents. And wonders if there is a way to test if dick was allergic to strawberries.

Mac set to testing the swab taken from Dick's skin to see just what people had been slathering all over him.#

She had a sample from the sheets, the food and drink, and some body lotion from the room, in case it was any of those.

Broots tested all the samlpes and tried to keep himself away from anything with the word "strawberry" in it.

Lana carefully presented all of her evidence showing how the girlfriend had paid one of the hookers to put toxic amounts of nicotine into the strawberry body lotion, thus causing a heart attack in Dick. Dick should have wondered why she insisted on wearing gloves to put the body lotion on after their last... exchange...

Also, I'm totally sorry about the class portion being short today. My cold meds and me disagreed on how what I was going to be writing tonight. I thought I would be writing this class and the cold meds were voting for something more like this "lklkadliw.xlkv"
