Creative Writing, Period 6 2/7

Yuki had been sitting in the classroom long before class started. Seems to him like it’s the only quiet place left on this whole island...

After the class is gathered he stands, “Hello again. Today you’re going to be writing. You remember the characters you’ve been working with? Now it’s time to give these characters motivations and goals. With those decided it’ll build your plot. You want your story to have a purpose. Today you should decide that purpose, and make sure that it’s something that’s important to you. If you don’t care about what you’re writing it’ll be harder to write.”

“You should start to craft some minor characters if you need them. Make a logical way for your characters to “grow” or meet their goals. If you want to discuss in pairs then you can, but by the end of the class I want to see a list of goals for the two main characters you made, and a few ideas for what your stories plot might be. By next week I want you to have a concrete idea of what your story is about.”

Yuki notices, but he's quite sympathetic. Which is something he's usually not. But in this case it's warranted. He loves sleep and he doesn't get enough himself. And he'd probably be mad if anyone tried to wake her up.

Turtle just knows everyone's lining up to work with her today. She sits and awaits the lucky person who's most on the ball in asking her.

Nova, who is very codependent, looked for someone to work with. What luck, that Turtle seemed very available. Not that he had any preference to partner up with her or anything.

Turtle leaned back slightly in her chair, trying to peer behind Nova. He was blocking people from partnering up with her just sitting there. She frowned at him. "What?"

Nova followed Turtles gaze, unsure of what she was looking at. Her tone of voice was not very promising.

"May I work with you?"

Nova turned in his work like a good student.

Noah's goals:
- Make it through school in the Lower Earth
- Become something more than a lowly Nibelungen

Oniyuki's goals:
- Make the students miserable
- Prevent that lowly Nibelungen from graduating


He gingerly placed his work on the teachers desk. He didn't want to give Yuki any reason to get upset.

Chuck edged his way into Yuki's classroom. Was he apprehensive? Hell yes. But he really needed that TV for next week's lesson.

Yuki is is busily typing but he has a really good sense of presense. He had knowing people are watching him or reading over his shoulder. He looks over at Chuck and grins slightly without standing up, "Ah... ChucK. To what do I owe the honor?"

Agggg. Again with saying his name like that. It was best to make this meeting as fast as possible.
"Hey, Yuki. I was thinking about showing a movie in my class next week. Do you mind if I borrow the TV?"

On a serious note, I'm going to have him putting people into partners soon for writing critique groups. If you want to be partnered with someone specific comment here.
