Yuki had been sitting in the classroom long before class started. Seems to him like it’s the only quiet place left on this whole island...

After the class is gathered he stands, “Hello again. Today you’re going to be writing. You remember the characters you’ve been working with? Now it’s time to give these characters motivations and goals. With those decided it’ll build your plot. You want your story to have a purpose. Today you should decide that purpose, and make sure that it’s something that’s important to you. If you don’t care about what you’re writing it’ll be harder to write.”

“You should start to craft some minor characters if you need them. Make a logical way for your characters to “grow” or meet their goals. If you want to discuss in pairs then you can, but by the end of the class I want to see a list of goals for the two main characters you made, and a few ideas for what your stories plot might be. By next week I want you to have a concrete idea of what your story is about.”

Nadia had finally lost the battle with not falling asleep in class.

Yep, she's snoring, too. Quietly, at least.

Yuki notices, but he's quite sympathetic. Which is something he's usually not. But in this case it's warranted. He loves sleep and he doesn't get enough himself. And he'd probably be mad if anyone tried to wake her up.

Turtle just knows everyone's lining up to work with her today. She sits and awaits the lucky person who's most on the ball in asking her.

Nova, ~~who is very codependent~~, looked for someone to work with. What luck, that Turtle seemed very available. Not that he had any preference to partner up with her or anything.

Turtle leaned back slightly in her chair, trying to peer behind Nova. He was blocking people from partnering up with her just sitting there. She frowned at him. "What?"

Nova followed Turtles gaze, unsure of what she was looking at. Her tone of voice was not very promising.

"May I work with you?"

There was a pout; Turtle leaned back to look again. Where was everyone else who wanted to partner up with her? They probably went and found other people to work with because stupid Nova was there already. She sighed, slumping a little against her palm. "Yeah, okay. Sure."

This'll be interesting. She was real sure Hood-boy had some great character ideas. "Who are your characters? What kinda goals should we give 'em?"

Nova explained about the main character Noah and his evil teacher Oniyuki. He thought the plot and goals still needed work.

"The Nibelungen are the lowest class in Lower Earth. Noah just wants to finish school so that he can become more than he is now," He took a moment to think after saying so much.

Switching out of explanation mode, "It's...a work in progress..."

A small grin had crept onto Turtle's face through Nova's explaination, and she leaned in a little as she asked, "Evil teacher Oniyuki, huh?" There was a snerk. "Nice."

Nova leaned in too since Turtle seemed to set a mood for secretive things to be said. "Is it really ok?" He asked in a low voice.

He asked about his overall idea. He was still oblivious to any real life reference he may have put into his story.

"I think it sounds pretty cool, actually," Turtle admitted, with a bob of her head. "An' it sounds like you already got the goal thing that Mr. Yuki wants us to work on today down. I got mine, too, I think. My main character, her name is Alice, she and her friend Tanner have to spend the night in a haaaauuuuunted mansion."

Yes, that was a spooky creepy voice she used there.
