As a result of being bitten by a gremlin, Marty stomps into study hall...


...dressed as principalconnor and carrying a large water pistol. Following behind him, clucking happily, is his new pet chicken Camilla dressed as apocalypsesoon.

"All right cannon fodder students! This is your study hall for Friday! Any cracks about how I don't look as butch as I normally do and heads will roll!"

iwasawesome and her homecoming committee are still looking for a name of the combined theme of "80's Night" and "Come as you aren't". If you have any ideas contact Lilly. I don't see what was so wrong with "Dance as the purging fires of the future burn outside the gym".

Tomorrow the yearbook staff is having a "Snack Sale". My advice: kill whatever they sell you before you eat it.

If you are looking for safe passage between town and school, drop by a_phale's shop in town or contact him directly at his post box.

Locker 327 is making some coughing and wheezing sounds, so you better stay the hell away from it until Dr. House can check its vitals.

If you ask for chicken at the cafeteria, you better damn well make sure you asked for "cooked" chicken. [Squawk] Shut up John!

There are rumors going around campus about some kind of plague. From what I can tell it has nothing to do with technology from the future coming back to the present to frag me so I don't care. If you're a freaking hypochondriac go to the clinic and quit your whining!

And for those of you who think it's funny to climb outside my tower, I'll remind you that I have many ways of maiming people that have nothing to do with firearms or weapons.

Finally, if jerusalem_s wants to keep his [expletive deleted] job, he better stop watching intergalactic porn at home all day and SHOW UP FOR CLASS!

*Gremlin venom wears off*

Marty looks at his clothing and then at Camilla's.

"Oh for crying out loud!"

Angela stops at his voice. It sounds like he's fine normal okay, relatively speaking, she thinks.

"A gremlin forced you to dress your chicken as John Connor?," she says skeptically.

And then starts to giggle.

"This is the weirdest school."

"Tell me about it!"

Marty shows Angela the bite mark on his leg and gives her the lost-puppy-dog-eyes.

"I was bitten. Really. This was *so* not me!

[OOC: Well actually it was but... it was Spider approved so I figured why the heck not. Plus I missed having study hall yesterday.

The eyes work, and Angela feels her gloom dissipate just the tiniest bit. She bends down to look at the bite.

"God, between that and what happened yesterday, you'll be lucky if you're able to walk by Monday," she says.

"Speaking of ... how are you feeling? Other than, um, Connoriffic."

Marty laughs but sees that Angela is feeling a little down.

"I had the best sleep last night I've had in years."

He leans in a little to Angela.

"I can guarantee you it wasn't the painkillers. Is everything okay with you?"

Angela waves his concerns away. "It's nothing, it's just..." she frowns. "Drusilla said there's a storm coming. Maybe it's the weather."

She looks him up and down.

"You should go change. We can catch up later."

Having read the profile on Drusilla, Marty knows that whatever Drusilla was talking about, it would hardly be the "weather".

"I'll go change, but I want you to do something for me." he said seriously. "Call Rob and see if he has any issues with you being armed while at work. I know he has that new security system but..."

Marty holds up his hand to stop Angela from objecting.

"I know you had a misfire yesterday, but I don't think you'll be doing that again. Right?" he says giving her a small smile.

Angela bites her lower lip.

"It freaks me out, but it might be a good idea. Probably I'll just never need it, right? I'll call him."

"Right. Just keep it for... insurance. That you'll hopefully never need. If he says yes, I'll drop it off at the store tonight. Sound good?"

Anbgela nods her assent and gently kisses Marty, a "goodbye for now" kind of kiss.

"I'll call you when I know."

Marty kisses her back and smiles.

"Sounds Good. I'll see you later. C'mon Camilla say goodbye!"

[Bawk!]

Marty scoops up his pet chicken and heads back to the dorm so he can change out of Principal Connor's clothes.
