A somewhat sleepy Bridge shuffles in to the library with coffee. Mmm, coffee.

Angela marched down to the library after her conversation with Marty. She wiped away tears as she went behind the desk.

"Do we have any books about how to catch someone cheating on you?" she asked Bridge.

"Angela?" Bridge says, concerned. "What *happened*?"

"I don't know," Angela said. "I mean, things were weird with Bel, and the kidnapping, and we were fightng a few months ago ... but I never thought he would do this to me."

She may have misunderstood the question a tad.

"You saw Marty... with, um, someone else?" Bridge asks carefully.

Angela snifled. "I didn't xactly see anything," she said. "But ... you know how you said I was kind of psychic? I just KNOW what he's doing." She shivered. "He must be looking for a father figure."

"...Father figure?" Bridge says weakly, not *entirely* sure he wants to know.

"I don't know why else he would be interested," Angela said logically. "Unless ... maybe he wants someone taller? Or maybe I should wear a uniform, like you."

Bridge tilts his head, picturing Angela in an SPD uniform. "Who is Marty, um, seeing? he asks. Apparently curiousity wins out against common sense.

"Dean Tick," Angela said, as if that was the most obvious person in the world. "How long do you think it's been going on?"

"How long do I... Dean Tick... spandex... antennae... tomato..."

Bridge's brain is a little broken, here.

"Tomato?" Angela asked. "I mean, I know! You would think he would at least pick a girl. No offense."

"There's nothing wrong with liking older guys..." Bridge says, maybe a little defensive. "But Dean *Tick*..."

"is the love of Marty's life," Angela finished glumly. "He's going to run off and be a sidekick and leave me all alone."

"Marty wouldn't do that to you!" Bridge insists.

Angela eyed Bridge nervously., "Do you think he'd go for a menage a trois? I don't know if I could share..."

"..."

Bridge is seriously not sure whether to laugh or cry. Or possibly bang his head on the table. Repeatedly. "Right. We need to get to the bottom of this."

"You're right," Angela said. "I'm going to go see Dean Tick tonight and see if we can work this out, somehow." She smiled wanly. "Thanks for listening, Bridge."

"It's what I do," Bridge says. "I really things turn out okay."
