"Welcome, one and all, to the first school assembly of the new semester! In case you haven't met me yet, I am The Tick! Dean of Students here at Fandom High. That means that where student issues are concerned, I am the parking attendant in the self park garage of your education!"

"Today, we have a special in the garage! It's a special that speaks of a different kind of special you might get in a seedier garage. Today's special is called DANK: Drugs Are Not Kool! Spelling is cool, of course, but sometimes you have to make an exception and spell something with a 'k' to work. Anyway, we will have several speakers this afternoon, guiding your car into a parking space of a clean and healthy life! Please welcome our guests!"

[OOC: Each speaker will have their own thread, plus there will be a Q&A thread at the end of the post for them to ping into. Also, since it seems appropriate this time, there will be a thread for after the assembly to speak to the guests a bit more privately. Please wait to ask the speakers questions until the speakers have pinged in.

"How so?"

"What if it's possession?" Peter asked. "Or... something not so exotic?"

"If it's possession, there are people here qualified to deal with that," Sam said quietly. "What kind of not exotic are we talking about here?"

"Like maybe I need to go back to a hospital not so exotic," Peter replied, looking like he hated to contemplate that.

"Are the dreams telling you to do things? Can you tell them from reality?" Sam asked, not that she had experience with this kind of thing or anything.

"They feel real when I have them," Peter said. "I don't feel like that when I wake up but... " Peter trailed off, grimacing.

"My nightmares feel real when I have them too," Sam said, "but that doesn't make them so. If you can tell when you wake up, I think you're just dreaming really, really vividly."

"They didn't feel like nightmares," Peter said. "It's just - "

He paused, glanced around to make sure nobody was listening, then leaned in again. "Yesterday I had this weird moment."

"What kind of weird?"

"Like my vision was going off on me," Peter said, keeping his voice low. "Only I never had a dream about that."

"Going off how?" Sam asked, even more concerned now. "Were you dizzy? Could you still see?"

"I could see but there were lights and colors," Peter said. "They went in and out. It didn't last too long but I couldn't control it."

"Lights and colors?" Sam hoped he wasn't developing epilepsy. "Have you gone to the clinic?"

Peter facepalmed. "Not yet?"

He hoped the 'yet' would keep her from hitting him.

Sam wasn't going to hit him. "Don't make me drag you."

"I could try this weekend?"

She raised her eyebrow at him. "Try?"

"I don't know if the clinic is open on weekends!" Peter replied.

"Okay, okay," Sam said, trying to keep things under control. "It is, which is something I should have told you earlier. Has it happened again? What were you doing at the time?"

"I was in class," Peter said. "Anatomy. Working on my sketch. Nothing unusual."

"Huh. Yeah, I got nothing."

"I'll go to the clinic, have them check me out," Peter said. "Maybe I just hit my head last time I tried jumping."

"Last time? As in...not off the roof, but off something else?" Sam nearly facepalmed again and realized she should have been more specific.

"Oh no, no, I meant the roof," Peter assured her. Because to him all those times jumping off curbs and couches didn't count.

Being a big sister was tough. "You'll let me know what happens at the clinic? At the risk of sounding too much like my father, I worry."
