"Welcome, one and all, to the first school assembly of the new semester! In case you haven't met me yet, I am The Tick! Dean of Students here at Fandom High. That means that where student issues are concerned, I am the parking attendant in the self park garage of your education!"

"Today, we have a special in the garage! It's a special that speaks of a different kind of special you might get in a seedier garage. Today's special is called DANK: Drugs Are Not Kool! Spelling is cool, of course, but sometimes you have to make an exception and spell something with a 'k' to work. Anyway, we will have several speakers this afternoon, guiding your car into a parking space of a clean and healthy life! Please welcome our guests!"

[OOC: Each speaker will have their own thread, plus there will be a Q&A thread at the end of the post for them to ping into. Also, since it seems appropriate this time, there will be a thread for after the assembly to speak to the guests a bit more privately. Please wait to ask the speakers questions until the speakers have pinged in.

"Annette Hargrove, an avid listener with a cute grin." She raised her brows, grinning.

Danny signed away. "Any interest in going into television Annette?"

Surprised, she said, "I've never thought about it. How does one get started in that?"

"Hard work and serious dedication," Danny said. "Being born brilliant, while helpful, is sadly not a requirement."

She nodded. "Serious dedication." Then chuckled. "Is anyone ever really born brilliant?"

"Besides me?"

She cocked her head, "Born brilliant, were you?"

"It's the common theory," Danny said. "Others suggest I had brilliance thrust upon me."

"Weren't you the lucky one." She said, grinning. "So all of it just comes natural to you?"

"I try to supplement it with things like my amazing education, and reading articles that were not written by people who think MrWutLvr79 makes a good by-line."

She snorted, surpressing the urge to laugh. "I would imagine any enhancement on your natural ability would be valued greatly, which it seems you do." And this guy really likes himself, doesn't he?

Quirking a brow, she asked, "Mr. Wut Lover?"

"I'm as disturbed by it as you," Danny said.

...and she could only not at that, because, um, really.

"Thank you for my autograph. It's a great picture." Bright smile.

"Thanks for appreciating good television," Danny replied.

"You are more than welcome." After a quick grin, she turned around to go pester another guest speaker.
