Library [1/23]

Sam came to open the library, in probably the best mood he'd been in in a long time.

His mood was so good, in fact, that he wasn't even particularly bothered by finding that half of the items on the main desk had turned into pies.

"Something, yeah," Peter said. "Nathan said I hit a fire escape. I remember it differently but... what if I'm remembering my dreams?"

"You could be remembering your dreams," Sam said. "Do you think Nathan would lie to you about all of this?"

The hesitation before Peter replied probably said more than words ever could.

Sam frowned softly. "If that's the case, then I don't know what to tell you, except to follow your gut. I think you'd know if it was all just a really vivid dream. But maybe not."

"Right now I don't know what I believe anymore." Peter sighed. "I'll keep you posted."

"Okay. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful," Sam said regretfully.
