((For the newbies: The lunch post is for students to gather and chat between 4th and 5th period. Yes, the Chef is a muppet and he has muppet chickens helping him with the cooking. The food is safe...mostly. I'll leave an OOC note if he accidentally leaves a sock in his cake batter or anything. And if you have a suggestion for the lunch post or a plotty type deal with the food then feel free to e-mail me!))

"My plan is more along the lines of 'sell my fascinating life story to Hollywood for a lot of money'. Sadly, I'm lacking in the sheer dumb luck category." Marco reached over to steal the wagging french fry.

"Hey!" Turtle frowned and tried to rescue the kidnapped fry back. She kicked Marco's leg from underneath the table.

"Ow!" Marco whinned.

But the fry had been rescued; that's what mattered to Turtle. She held up her chin with an air of victory as she munched on it. "Stealing is bad, Marco," she told him, almost as if completely oblivious to the pain she'd caused.

"Sharing is good." Marco shot back.

"But stealing fries is more fun."

"Well, actually, flying is more fun. Plus, I can't be hurt." Marco said smugly.

Turtle frowned at him. "But you just said..." And she imitated his little flinch-and-whine. "Oww."

"It hurts, I just can't be permanetly hurt."

Turtle looked at Marco for a very long time before she said, "No one can be perminantly hurt, unless they die. And, around this place, I wouldn't be surprised if that had to be followed up with 'and sometimes, not even then.'"

"So lost limbs aren't permanent?"

Turtle's nose wrinkled as she thought about that for a minute. She thought maybe he'd have her there. Almost.

"Nope. You can get functional prosthetic limbs to replace them."

"But they're not actual flesh and blood." Marco pointed out. "Plus, you'll have scars."

"With enough time, scars can fade," Turtle said, "but, yes, you do have me on the flesh and blood part."

Turtle glanced around the room. "Nope. Sorry. I don't see Anders here, so how can I point to him?"

She grinned back.
