((For the newbies: The lunch post is for students to gather and chat between 4th and 5th period. Yes, the Chef is a muppet and he has muppet chickens helping him with the cooking. The food is safe...mostly. I'll leave an OOC note if he accidentally leaves a sock in his cake batter or anything. Turtle frowned at him. "But you just said..." And she imitated his little flinch-and-whine. "Oww."

"It hurts, I just can't be permanetly hurt."

Turtle looked at Marco for a very long time before she said, "No one can be perminantly hurt, unless they die. And, around this place, I wouldn't be surprised if that had to be followed up with 'and sometimes, not even then.'"

"So lost limbs aren't permanent?"

Turtle's nose wrinkled as she thought about that for a minute. She thought maybe he'd have her there. Almost.

"Nope. You can get functional prosthetic limbs to replace them."

"But they're not actual flesh and blood." Marco pointed out. "Plus, you'll have scars."

"With enough time, scars can fade," Turtle said, "but, yes, you do have me on the flesh and blood part."
