The Doctor smiled and waved at everyone who came in to class today.

He passed out a written exam that seemed dreadfully dull, long, and boring.

After a few minutes, noticing the distress on Jack Harkness' face, he called him up to his desk, and sent him off to pick some things up at J,GoB.

All seemed like the final would be a boring smelly old test... surely he had something up his sleeve?

About eleven minutes into the final, the door burst open, and in walked three silver figures, with guns and metal heads.

They opened fire before anyone could react, and the Doctor screamed in pain as he fell down behind his desk.

The three Cybermen levelled their guns at the class.

"You are to be like us. Resistance is useless."

Nadia watched this occur in confusion, looking down at the test booklet again. They'd studied these things, hadn't they.

Then she shook her head and, pulling her mallet out of her bag just in case, attempted to head over to the Doctor's desk to make sure he was alright.

The Doctor himself, was wincing in extreme pain, clutching at his chest.

"It..." he coughed violently. "It was nice knowing you, Nadia Santos."

And then his hearts stopped.

And Then, the Doctor is standing.

The pullover and jacket were now ill fitting, as he'd gained quite a few pounds. His face was covered in beard and scruff, and he seemed to be missing three fourths of one of his ears. When he spoke, he sounded gruff, and American. (rather like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFbbKpIcgK8), in fact).

He shook his head and blinked.

"Oh man, did what I think just happened actually happen?"

"Um, we were attacked by cybermen and you fell over and started glowing and now you're... Missing an ear. Is that what you thought happened?"

"I'm missing an..." the Doctor reached up and felt. "Aw, hell, that..." he reached up to his face. "I'm missing teeth, too!"

Walter frowned at the standing man.

"What do you think just happened?"

"...You don't look like the tenth Doctor I knew," Pip said, suspiciously.

Door shakes her head. "Probably not. I've learned that in Fandom whatever just happened is seldom what you think it was."

And Then: The door gets kicked in. Again!

The door is seeing a lot of abuse today, as in walks two alien in dark leathery suits, with bulbous potato-like heads. They shoot twice, both thudding into the chest of the newly regenerated Doctor, who falls down behind his desk again.

"This classroom is now property of the Sontaran Empire!" one of them shouts.

Door tilts her head at them. "...Why?"

And Then the Doctor stood up. Again.

The Doctor wasn't missing anything, this time. His clothes fit a little better, and he still had facial hair.

He looked like he was ready to kick ass, of all things.

"Okay, this... needs to stop. Too many regenerations, too fast."

Probably just another fist.

And Then: The door gets kicked in. Yet Again.

This time, it is a man with a beard that enters, waving a gun at the Doctor but not quite firing.

"I have come for you, Doctor... why do I feel as if the next thing that must be said is 'And now we shall kung-fu fight'?"

"Perhaps we must," the Doctor said, shedding his coat and jumper to reveal well oiled muscles.

"I'm ready for you."

And Then the Doctor entered via the door!

He was smiling, and following him was Jack Harkness with a large rolly cart piled high with fresh cookies of all sorts, pitchers of milk, and some cups.

"Congratulations," the Doctor said. "You all have aced the class."

"Doctor!" Not that Door's all that surprised, but she really does prefer this Doctor over the other alternatives presented today. "You've got your old jib back!"

Of course, that was in a large part due to his having spent too much time flailing and not enough time being useful. But the Doctor still being this Doctor was very much of the good too.
