The Doctor smiled and waved at everyone who came in to class today.

He passed out a written exam that seemed dreadfully dull, long, and boring.

After a few minutes, noticing the distress on Jack Harkness' face, he called him up to his desk, and sent him off to pick some things up at J,GoB.

All seemed like the final would be a boring smelly old test... surely he had something up his sleeve?

The pullover and jacket were now ill fitting, as he'd gained quite a few pounds. His face was covered in beard and scruff, and he seemed to be missing three fourths of one of his ears. When he spoke, he sounded gruff, and American. (rather like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFbbKpIcgK8), in fact).

He shook his head and blinked.

"Oh man, did what I think just happened actually happen?"

"Um, we were attacked by cybermen and you fell over and started glowing and now you're... Missing an ear. Is that what you thought happened?"

"I'm missing an..." the Doctor reached up and felt. "Aw, hell, that..." he reached up to his face. "I'm missing teeth, too!"

Nadia raised a skeptical eyebrow. Because one thing she remembered from the day of the Doctors was that they were all British. "You've had more attractive incarnations."

"Hey now, that's not fair," the Doctor said. "Hey, you kids took out the Cybermen, that's great! Did a bang-bang up job, too."

"None of us even got injured." Which was on the suspicious side, considering what they'd learned about Cybermen. And so was there suddenly being things like gold awards in the classroom. On the last day of class.

Well, at least this was a more interesting way of testing their knowledge than that huge thing he'd tried to pass off.

"I suppose that's just a testament to what kind of teacher you are. . . ." Nadia's voice was somewhat cold on that. Yeah, she wasn't buying this all as a coincidence at all.
