Back from class! And ... starting on her Christmas shopping via amazon.com.

She's decided not being able to order things online will be one of the most annoying things about going home.

It'd been a while since Cameron had done any library aides pestering and apparently he picked a good day to pick up on it.

"Yo, Angela," he greeted as bounced over.

"Yo back," Angela said, grinning. "What's up, Cam?"

"I just realised that it's been way too long since I bugged you so I figured I needed to change that," he relpied, stuffing his hands in his pocket. "How are you?"

"It's been way too long," Angela agreed. "I'm good. Managed to dodge the trolls all weekend, and Sciuto's class was a trip, as always."

"I dodged some trolls," Cameron said sheepishly. "Sciuto's? That's computer, no?"

Angela raised an eyebrow at the "some." "Did you end up having some close encounters? And yeah, she's computers. But she's a Goth and it's just fun. This week we posted personal ads."

"Yeah, some were a bit too close," he touched the healing cut on his head which Angela probably couldn't see. "But it was fun and at least we know there won't be any trolls replying to your personal ads. I hope you give Marty a warning about the weirdos who might be showing up," he teased.

"They don't strike me as the online dating type," Angela agreed. "I dunno, it might be good for Marty to be a tiny bit jealous."

Cameron tilted his head, curious about the remark. "Why? Is he getting complacent?"

"I'm not complaining!" Angela said hastily. "It's just ... you know. We've been together a long time."

"That's a good thing," he looked thoughtful for a moment before continuing in a softer voice. "Cosmo's got some interesting stuff on how to keep things... sparkling."

Angela blushed bright red. "We don't need Cosmo!" she squeaked.

And then: "You read Cosmo?"

Cameron flailed. "Only once!"

Angela wasn't letting this go. "Looking for the perfect evening dress?" she asked. "Or are you interested in, like, new trends in waxing?"

Crossing his arms, Cameron rolled his eyes. "Hardly."

Angela rolled her eyes right back at Cam. "I do not want to know if things with Veronica are lacking, or whatever."

"They're not! Well okay, I guess they're lacking in the sense that she's across the country," he took a breath. "But beside that... we really should change the topic."

"California's a long way, but topic changed," Angela said, looking relieved. "So did you send in your Academy application yet?"

"You mean the exams?" he asked and nodded. "I did those when I went home for Thanksgiving. So now there's nothing left to do for me but wait for the results to come in."

"I didn't know exactly how it worked," Angela shrugged. "Good luck, anyhow. Do you think you did okay?"

Cameron nodded. "Everyone sounded pretty positive so yeah, I think I've got a shot," he said with a smile. "How about your future plans?"

"I got my application and writing portfolio off to the schools I'm looking at while I was home," Angela said proudly. "University of New York was my favorite, but the tuition's kind of high so I don't know if I'll be able to go."

She grinned."It's the waiting game."

"I hate waiting," he sulked. "So you're staying on the East Coast?"

"Probably," Angela confirmed. "I sent an application to Evergreen State in Oregon? But I don't know if I'd really like being that far from home."
