Thanksgiving- The cafeteria- Thursday, 4 pm onwards

Once the food is cooked, it's time to set it out, and start yelling at people to get their butts down to dinner.

There's a full spread, complete with all the traditional Thanksgiving stuff. Turkey, sides, and all the fun dessert stuff will be brought out later. There's a cooler full of drinks (non-alcoholic, as hi, Jaye did invite the principal) and everything should be good. And if it isn't... eh. Deal.

After coming down, finding the cafeteria and seeing Molly, Ray took the seat next to her.

"This is a lot of food."

Molly smiled at Ray and nodded. "Yup. And there are tons of desserts for later."

He laughed and started eating. "My mark on the world."

"A very temporary one," Molly teased.

"You're just lucky I didn't write my name in the batter," he said.

"Maybe for Christmas I can make sugar cookies and you can write your name on all of them with frosting."

Molly grinned. "If they don't, you get to eat them all."

"Not a hard thing for me to do," he said and patted his stomach. "Cookies are always welcome."

Molly pointedly looked at his stomach, a certain glint in her eye. "Have you started working out yet? Maybe I shouldn't be giving you cookies."

"I work out everyday by walking to class," he said, nodding seriously.

Molly snickered. "You are going to get sooooo fat if you eat all the cookies."

"What would you be doing if you were at home?" Molly asked him after a bit. "Besides eating, I mean."

"Watching football," he says immediately. "Playing outside in the snow, if we had any."

"Isn't it too cold to play in the snow?"

"Nah," he said. "Beats staying inside and being bothered by my family."

"Do you have a big family?" Molly asked, curious.

She'd heard about large family gatherings, but it had only ever been her and her parents. Before they died anyway. How odd to realize that her family had only gotten bigger after she was an orphan.

"Nah," he said. "Big enough to annoy me sometimes but not so big that I ended up sleeping on the floor while one of them took my bed."
