Thanksgiving- The cafeteria- Thursday, 4 pm onwards

Once the food is cooked, it's time to set it out, and start yelling at people to get their butts down to dinner.

There's a full spread, complete with all the traditional Thanksgiving stuff. Turkey, sides, and all the fun dessert stuff will be brought out later. There's a cooler full of drinks (non-alcoholic, as hi, Jaye did invite the principal) and everything should be good. And if it isn't... eh. Deal.

"How much younger? Are you friends? Do you miss him?" Molly might have always wanted a sibling. Just a little.

"Just a few years, sometimes and sometimes," he answered, smiling.

Molly gave a small, wistful sigh. "It was only ever me and my parents before they died. And then, when I was hiding out with my friends, we couldn't ever really afford to do anything big." She looked around the table with a smile. "This is my first really big Thanksgiving."

"Your first, really?" He blinked, surprised. "Least this one's a good one."

Molly nodded. "Me and my parents would go out to restaurants sometimes, but we never did anything with a large group of people. This is what I always thought Thanksgiving was supposed to be like. Except with more adults."

"Uh?" That's one he hadn't heard before. He tapped his leg. "Sounds pretty solid to me."

"Chase always used to say that he could eat so much because his legs were hollow and he had to fill them up with food."

Ray frowned. "That..would be useful but where would the bones and muscles be if the food was all in there?"

Molly snickered. "I actually never thought about it that much. I guess the bones would still be there, the food would just fill in around them."

"Make kind of a fat leg," he said.

"And squishy too," Molly added, making a face. "Ew, I never really thought about how gross that would actually be. I'm sorry I brought it up now."
