"Make it a really big turkey? There seems to be a lot of people coming. I volunteered or was volunteered or something by Jaye to help with the cooking so I need to know what needs to be done."
"But I bet there would be one hell of a wishbone. Honestly though, I'm wondering if maybe we should cook two or three turkeys?" Isabel pondered. "If we can cook in the kitchen there should be more then enough room."
"That's actually not a bad idea," Dean said. "At the worst, we'll end up with lots of leftovers which I'm sure wouldn't last long around here anyway. If we do do more than one turkey, I'll be happy to share the turkey responsibility and I've got a few people to help in the kitchen under supervision -- kinda like sous chefs if we need them."
"I'd expect we'd be left with nothing but carcasses by Sunday at the latest," she said. "And I'll gladly share responsibility. Especially if you're willing to be the one that cleans them. Turkey guts are gross."
"I'm not going to ask what was the worst. I have a feeling it'll put me off food till after the holiday," Isabel laughed. "I think we need to get some mashed potatoes done as well. I know English Peter said he'd help peel."
"I've got Alec and Tyler who've agreed to help too, so we have lots of potential peelers. And I'm going to track Sammy down this afternoon and get him to help me make some pies since he's all the pie expert in the family now."
