Rory bustled sleepily into the library with her laptop, coffee, and a special and very sleepy visitor in her bag.

She was hoping no one would really notice that last one.

Bridge shuffles in to the library, hair even more sticky-uppy than usual.

"Hey!" he says cheerfully, flopping down in a chair next to Rory.

Rory eyes him. "You look sleepy," she notes.

Vladdie rolls a little to paw at the air near Bridge.

Rory smiles. "Did you get up just to come visit me?"

Bridge blinks a few times. "Pretty much yes," he admits.

Rory takes a better look at him, and reaches over to press her hand to his forehead. "You're sick," she says worriedly. "What are you doing out of bed? Go back and get all rested and better!"

"Uh, I came to visit you for lunch?" Bridge blinks again. Hadn't he *just* answered that question?

"Yes, I know, and that is adorable of you and I appreciate it, but to bed with you," Rory orders. "You need to get better."

"I just woke up and you want me to go *back* to sleep?" Bridge pouts.

Rory leans over and kisses his cheek. "I want you to be un-sick."

"M'not sick," Bridge grumbles, totally trying to hide a sniffle.

"You are, and you'll get worse if you don't get some rest," she says, smoothing a hand over his hair. "Will it help if I promise to visit later after my paper meeting?"

Bridge huffs out a sigh. "Well. Okay. But you'll promise?" He asks, wide-eyed.

"Cross my heart and hope to catch your cold," she promises, drawing an X over her heart.

"'Kay," Bridge smiles, and in lieu of leaning over to give Rory a kiss, grabs her hand and twines their fingers together. "See you later, then?"

Rory presses a kiss to his fingers and smiles. "Later. Maybe I'll bring you soup or tea." She tries not to make a face at either prospect.

"It can be one of those really sugary kinds of teas," Bridge suggests. "With more sugar added."

"Ooh. Oh! And you need to have clear liquids," she says, remembering her childhood. "So like, Sprite."

Bridge isn't sure about the validity of that, but he doesn't say anything. "Soup and tea and Sprite. Sounds good to me," he grins.

"And careful, non-Rory-sickifying snuggles," she adds with a grin. "Those are good for the getting-betterness."

"I seem to remember reading something about a snuggle-cure, yes," Bridge muses as he stands up to leave. "We'll have to test it. Later tonight when you're all done with newspapery stuff."
