Library [11/09]

Rory bustled sleepily into the library with her laptop, coffee, and a special and very sleepy visitor in her bag.

She was hoping no one would really notice that last one.

"He might chew on it," she said with a frown, stacking books up into a neat fort. "Plus he's not here. Vladdiekins, want to be our mascot?"

Vladdie ignored her in favor of a dustbunny he had just located.

"He should totally be the mascot," John agreed and stacked some dictionaries around the bottom. "Foundation."

"We could put tiny Vladdies on a flag!" she said, ignoring the weetiny bunnies that had descended on her puppy. "I don't have any cereal to eat in the fort. Do we fail at fort?"

Rory made Vladdie a tiny newspaper hat like she wore for paper meetings.

"Yes," she said, putting it on Vladdie's head.

Vladdie yipped and scurried away from the weetiny bunnies waving at him and looking huggy. Miraculously, his hat stayed on.

"Vladdiness! Come here!" Rory called, whistling for Vladdie and moving towards the fort.

Vladdie flew over to her, his hat still somehow staying on.
