"I hear that." Blair may not have understood the whole hunting thing, but Naomi was no stranger to dragging her kid along to things she felt he needed to experience. "Parents are weird sometimes."

"And some are definitely more weird than others," Sam agreed. "I figure my dad can only make me tag along for a few more years. Then I'll be old enough that he won't be able to make me do anything unless I want to."

"Maybe I'll just have to get some practice in before then," he said, laughing softly to himself. "And I don't think Dean will be saying no, so it's not like I'd be leaving my dad to fend for himself. He and Dean can do anything when they work together."
