Detention [Saturday, October 14, all day]

The Danger ~~Room~~ Shop had been configured into a series of stark detention cells.

Vader checked off the names of the students as they entered detention and wordlessly pointed them to their own room.

"You will sit in there for a period of time and think about what you did to get in here," he growled as the interrogation droid that his Ethics students would recognize hovered behind him. "And if you are not feeling as...repentant...as you should be, you will continue to stay in that cell all. day. long."

The doors slammed shut behind each student, leaving them in darkness.

OOC: ETA: I have plans for tonight, woe, so I will pick up all hanging pings in the morning. Your characters got out of detention around 5 o'clock Fandom time and Vader was pissy all. day. long. Thanks for playing!!

"What are your orders, my lord?" the officer repeated, looking terrified.

Billy, much to his pride, managed not to hyperventilate as he realized what was going on. sonofa@#$%^! Billy suddenly pictured his father laughing his ass off.

"Hail them." he ordered, stalling.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

"Very good, my lord," the officer said, racing off. He returned a few minutes later. "They say they are a consular vessel on a diplomatic mission. They are lying."

"Tell them to stop and allow us to search their vessel. If they've nothing to hide, they've nothing to fear."

"They're claiming diplomatic immunity, my lord. Shall we destroy them?"

"No." Billy insisted. There would be no destroying if he had anything to say about it. He wasn't his father, and he would not allow himself to be. Or Vader.

"Tractor them in."

"Very good, my lord," the officer replied, relaying the command through his communication device. "Their ship is in the cargo hold now. Would you like to see to them personally?"

"Yes." Billy said, without a clue how to get to the cargo bay.

The officer led Billy down to the cargo bay. "Here you are my lord," he said and disappeared just as the Rebels let down their cargo bay door and let out a deadly barrage of blaster fire.

The world went white...and Billy would find himself back in a huge, white, cavernous hallway. "Lord Vader," a uniformed man next to him said breathlessly. "We have the Rebel vessel in range. Our sources tell us that the Death Star plans are still on board. What are your orders?"

Billy ground his teeth. He wondered just what Vader was trying to get him to do, though he could guess.

"Tractor them in."

"Very good, my lord," the officer said, relaying the order. "They are in the hanger bay now."

"Hail them. I wish to speak with them."

The captain who showed up on the comm device was extremely cranky. "This is a consular vessel on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan. You have no right to hold us like this."

Please. "We're Imperial Navy. We can do whatever the hell we want. We have reason to believe you have stolen property on board. Give it up and there will be no need for further unpleasantness.

"We have diplomatic immunity," the captain replied, rolling his eyes. "You can demand whatever you like. We're not giving it to you. Release us now and I won't put in a formal complaint with the Imperial Senate."

"Tell me you're not that naive."

The captain snorted. "If you were going to do anything, you would've done it while we were in space. You've lost your touch, Lord Vader."

Billy liked this guy. he cut off the transmission. "Pump their ship full of knockout gas."

"Knockout gas, my lord?" The officer blinked. "We have no such thing."

Oh for...

"Pacify the ship." he said. "But let me make this perfectly clear. I want prisoners. Not corpses."

"Very good, my lord," the officer replied, calling in for the 501st to take care of things. A few of them tilted their helmets at the "no corpses" idea, but they followed through on the order.

"The ship has been pacified, my lord," the commander said fifteen minutes later. "We cannot find any trace of the stolen documents. They must have gotten rid of them in the amount of time we gave them to stall."

He winced pre-emptively. That sort of comment would get him killed.

"You like living dangerously." Billy remarked. Then he turned his back on the officer as if he were insignifigant.

"Bring me the `diplomat` to question. I'll work my way down the ranks." He tossed the order over his shoulder.

Two troopers trotted away and returned with a petite young woman dressed in white. She sneered at him. "Lord Vader. Only you could be so bold. The Imperial Senate will not sit still when they hear of this outrage."

"I should hope not. Now what did you do with the plans?"

Her expression went absolutely unreadable. "I have no idea what you're talking about. We're on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan."
