Criminal Justice [first period, Tuesday 10/10]

V had laid out materials for his class once again, and this week they included all sorts of pens, pencils, crayons, markers, and all manner of paper.

"Sometimes," he intoned as he began to pace, "justice cannot be exacted immediately, and instead a plan must be formulated. These plans take time and care. You must know who, if anyone, will be your allies. What materials and resources will you use? Who will you target, when and why? Your assignment today is to choose someone, real or imaginary, who has somehow wronged you or others, and formulate a plan to strike back including these variables."

V gestured expansively to the craft materials. "I understand your parents are coming to visit in a short period of time. If you'd like to be artistic and create...charts, or visual representations of your plans, I shall be displaying them for your loved ones when they come."

He nodded sharply. "Work together or separately. I shall be available for questions."

[Be as creative as you would like with this. I'll tell you right now that that artpad thing is ADDICTIVE. It's pretty self-explanatory, and I believe there's a "save and send" function on the left toolbar. Then when that window pops up, there's a function for just getting the link. If you'd like to link to whatever you draw, I'd be happy to save the links and really display them for PW.]

Decide on allies, formulate a plan of attack (so to speak), and/or draw a chart or drawing or other visual representation!

River glanced at Bel. She did like painting, and she had no problem drawing diagrams, but there was the distinct lack of a plan. She actually preferred glitter.

"What's your plan?" she asked Bel.

And then he thanked everything that only Su would be at Parents' Weekend or so he thought.

Pete spent rather a lot of time (when he wasn't gaping at Seely) on his diagram.

It was such a simple plan it had to be fool proof. Step one: have Joxer paint an X. Step two: hang a big rock from the ceiling. Step three: lure in the nancy-boy with nancy-boy-tea-set. Step four: Squash the nancy-boy with the rock. Step five: enjoy the spoils of Justice.

Alec sat down and painted somewhat randomly, given that he wasn't about to apply the entirety of his formulated plan for the systematic torture and assassination of the head of Manticore - whomever they actually were - to paper with craft paint.

It was still just as well that he didn't have anyone coming for PW who would see it. At least, he hoped there wouldn't be anyone coming.

Dean sat down beside him and nudged his shoulder. "So Manticore?" he asked. "Or I suppose you could always do Godzilla going after all those pesky humans that keep giving him indigestion."

Teddy frowned at the reminder about Parents Weekend. He continued to do so as he looked down at his piece of paper. He really wasn't very good at the revenge thing.

Luke's first attempt (http://artpad.art.com/?j6xka44nuto) once artpad stops being evil, omg was a bit on the simplistic side. As Luke stared at it he decided that Vader probably wouldn't just stand still and wait for a rock to fall on him. The rock would have to be something the size of a moon and that was treading just a little too close to Death Stars for his comfort.

Luke crumpled up his paper and tried again.
