Rory bustled into the library a bit sleepily, and took her place behind the desk with her massive cup of coffee and her reading for Literature for the week.

Luke leaned over and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. "That means a lot," he said quietly.

Luke gave her a shy smile. "I'll remember," he promised. He gestured towards the door. "I can study these all day, right?"

"All day," she promised. "I'm closing in a few hours, but you can stay until then."

Luke's eyes were full of gratitude. "Thank you," he said softly and headed out for a nearby table to work on memorizing everything.
