Parker spread her fingers on the library countertop, and shook her head. "No." She didn't look up, just studied her fingertips. "M's Jarod's cat. He asked me to look after her while he's gone. Which was supposed to be for a month. Might be longer now, though."

Parker gave him a quick glance, and a grateful smile. "And, do you think, maybe some kind of remote collar? So I could take her for walks on the roof, without worrying about her trying to get away? She's used to more room to roam. I have to figure something out, or she'll make both me and Esme nuts."

Bridge hops over the counter and goes to hug Parker.

"Oh, pretty much." She leaned into him, and even tentatively returned the hug. "Went to spectacular pieces on Jack a day or so ago. Put them back together. Nothing seems to be missing." Parker whispered, "Mostly."

"I do. Most definitely." Parker sighed, pulling away a little. "It's okay? You don't mind this? I just... seem to need sympathy, or something. I don't want to push, though."

"Thanks." Parker smiled at him, and relaxed a bit. "Anyway. Yeah. Cat security devices would be great. Although I know you're probably busy this weekend, with Homecoming and all." She cocked her head. "Unless you're not planning on going?"

Parker looked surprised. "Cool. That'll be nice for you guys. I'm glad." She made a face. "Have fun for me. I think I'll be skipping it. Maybe, I don't know. Hit the mainland for clubbing or dinner out or something."
