"When I spoke to dad on Friday he said that she was doing fine," Naomi replied, "he's calling again this Friday so hopefully I'll know that it's definite she'll be home on the weekend,"

"Excellent, that's good to hear."

"Yeah, at least I won't have to deal with anything bad happening to her," she remembered what had happened the last time all to well.

"Any Fandom Weirdness?"

"Aside from being the detention lottery winner after the first week of classes, that was pretty weird," Naomi said, "but other then that it's being pretty quiet,"

"Yeah, I won this past week. Wound up fighting a T-Rex."

"I had to knock a villain off a platform with a cotton swab, play a game of paper-scissors-rock with a villain and I had to convince a crazy bomber to stop bombing the place, it was different ... considering I'd never had detention before, weird but different,"

"Did you win?"

"I won two out of three, the only one I didn't win in was paper-scissors-rock, but apparently the guy I was facing was almost impossible to beat and the fact that I tied with him in one of the rounds was an achievement,"

"Well that's good. I've never been good at rock paper scissors myself. I always picked pre-emptive air strike."

"I'd actually never played the game before," Naomi replied, "so yeah I understood why I didn't do to brilliantly at it,"

"It's tricky."

"Yeah, I'm not that good with those sort of things,"

"Do they have that game in the future?"

"I'm not entirely sure, they could have it but I never had the opportunity to play it growing up if that's the case,"

"Do, uh, do you have scissors? Or paper?"

"Yeah we have those things," Naomi replied, "even though most stuff is written on a data padd rather than paper,"

"Nice to know that some things aren't obsolete even then."

"Well when I was little I liked making things for the Voyager's crew, cards and drawings, even if they weren't very good,"

Billy smiled. "That sounds cool."

"My uncle was also the morale officer on Voyager so he gave me the idea of making things to cheer up the crew members when they weren't well,"

"Moral Officer?" Billy laughed. "That's something modern military could use."

"I think Captain Janeway allowed him to become Morale Officer just to humor him," Naomi grinned, "he self appointed himself in the position,"

Billy laughed. "What was he before?"

"Before he joined the Voyager crew he used to be a Trader in the Delta Quadrant,"
