"Do they have that game in the future?"

"I'm not entirely sure, they could have it but I never had the opportunity to play it growing up if that's the case,"

"Do, uh, do you have scissors? Or paper?"

"Yeah we have those things," Naomi replied, "even though most stuff is written on a data padd rather than paper,"

"Nice to know that some things aren't obsolete even then."

"Well when I was little I liked making things for the Voyager's crew, cards and drawings, even if they weren't very good,"

Billy smiled. "That sounds cool."

"My uncle was also the morale officer on Voyager so he gave me the idea of making things to cheer up the crew members when they weren't well,"

"Moral Officer?" Billy laughed. "That's something modern military could use."

"I think Captain Janeway allowed him to become Morale Officer just to humor him," Naomi grinned, "he self appointed himself in the position,"

Billy laughed. "What was he before?"

"Before he joined the Voyager crew he used to be a Trader in the Delta Quadrant,"

"Oh, so, he didn't start out on the crew."

"Neelix is a native of the Delta Quadrant," Naomi explained, "when Voyager was transported 75 000 lightyears across the galaxy by the Caretaker they found him and because he knew the area he joined them as a guide and ended up staying on the ship, he's currently living with a talaxian colony in the Delta Quadrant, he's pretty much an informal ambassador for Starfleet there,"

"You can communicate with a part of the galaxy that's, 75,000 lightyears away?" Billy asked, impressed.

"The Delta Quadrant had been unexplored until Voyager was stranded, so up until then nothing was known about the region" Naomi replied, "Neelix chose to remain behind to be a family with a Talaxian woman and her son, so we have a communications link with him there, I talked to him a few weeks ago actually,"

"That must have been pretty exciting for explorers."

"Most of it was exciting, Voyager ran into a few hostile species in the Delta Quadrant but then that comes with the territory,"

"Some things don't change no matter what planet you're on."

"One of my very first adventures was being stranded on some alien planet along with the rest of the Voyager crew after this alien race called the Kazon took over the ship," Naomi said, "I don't actually remember that because I was only a baby but that's what mom told me later on,"

I was once buried alive with several other people in a landlocked freighter by my father, and only three or four of us escaped alive.

"Wow." Billy said, impressed.

"Voyager was definitely a memorable experience,"
