It's the first time Aeryn's opened the flight shed herself, and she tries not to think too much about that as she sets up and waits for the others to arrive.

When they do, she greets them with, "If you don't already know me, my name is Aeryn Sun, I'm former military, spent a good part of the last three cy- years piloting a fighter ship and was doing so as late as this February. You've all shown at least a little interest in flying and learning how to do it, so this would be the place for it. Now I'd like you all to introduce yourselves, tell me what experience you have, and if there's anything in particular you'd like to study here, I'll see what I can do to get it."

She gestures to the simulator and says, "You'll also be able to get into the simulator this time. It's called a Prowler, and this is what I'm used to flying. It's used for reconnaissance and battle, and you'll even be able to operate weapons systems. Luckily you can't really shoot anything, no matter what your experience. If you need me for anything, I'm around."

Naomi rather nervously climbed into the prowler, even if it was just a simulator she didn't want to think about what could go wrong.

"All right then," Aeryn says, "do the controls look at all familiar to you?"

Naomi briefly went over them but couldn't recognise any of them, "they're different to what I'm used to," she replied

"That's all right," Aeryn tells her, and proceeds to point out ignition, propulsion and navigation. "You'll use weapons later, but that's mainly what you'll need right now. Got it?"

Naomi nodded, "right," and proceded to start the prowler. Once the engines were started she was able to complete a run, even though it was a rather shaky ride.

"Not so bad, is it?" Aeryn asks her.

"That wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be," Naomi replied, feeling very relieved.

"Glad to hear it," she says. "If there's anything you'd feel more comfortable with, let me know and we'll see if I can't get a simulation for it somehow." She has no idea how, but it's Fandom. There's probably a way somehow.

"Well my only piloting experience involves a federation shuttle called the the Delta Flyer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_Flyer)" Naomi replied

"Are you in any position to get a simulation program?" Might as well start the search with the easy question.

"I can contact Tom Paris," Naomi replied, "he was the pilot on Voyager, he's good with that kind of stuff,"

"If you can get something, let me know and I'll make sure we get to it," she nods.

"I'll see what I can do," Naomi replied
