Library [09/22]

Sam was feeling only a little nervous as he headed over to open the library for the first time. Luckily, being surrounded by books did a lot to help him relax.

It almost pained Sam to not make a comment about Alec's reading ability when it would have been so easy, but politeness won out and he turned to the computer catalog. "All right, general information and nice pictures. There's got to be something like that here. Where'd the sudden interest in dinosaurs come from anyway?"

"I dunno," Alec said thoughtfully, frowning slightly. "I made a dinosaur in class the other day and I realized I didn't really know anything about them."

Sam sensed the discomfort and felt a bit guilty. "I...clearly know nothing about the sorts of things you're interested in. But hey, I did say it was a pleasant surprise."
