Library [09/20]

Bridge arrives bright and early for his first time opening the library, and and settles in behind the desk with a notebook and schematics for the projects he's currently working on.

Bridge frowns thoughtfully as he looks at the number. "That's in the history section," he says. "Central Europe."

"Well, that's where Florin is, right?" Door nods and carries the scrap of paper towards the history shelves after tucking away the box and closing the drawer again.

And there on the shelf between Guilder: a Guide to the Royal Succession and Lichtenstein: the Biggest Little Secret in History is Buttercup's Baby, unabridged.

Door slides it off the shelf, and blinks at the third Post-It, attached to the dust-jacket.

So not worth all the trouble you just went to. It doesn't even have any kissing parts except for the last page.

Bridge glances at the note, and then does a double-take because the handwriting? Very, very familiar.

So he does the logical thing and bursts into giggles.

Door frowns at the note. "Whoever did that's lucky I'm not one of those people who thinks a book's spoiled if you get told how it turns out." Then she looks up at Bridge. "What's so funny?"
