Library [09/20]

Bridge arrives bright and early for his first time opening the library, and and settles in behind the desk with a notebook and schematics for the projects he's currently working on.

Bridge has coffee. Which he is very, very careful not to spill on the plans for an invisible fence he's working on.

The coffee's gone, and Bridge is still absorbed in his project. He'll gladly put it aside if anyone needs help, though.

He's taking a break from the project to reshelve some books.

Flipping through one of the books he'd found in the returns pile had given him a few ideas, and so yep. Back at the drawing board.

The library's closed unless you're a library aide. Bridge has abandoned projects in favour of working on his exciting lunch of cold pizza and juice.

Whatever it is that he's working on *now*, he's liable to hide it the minute anyone else comes in to the library.

He's run out of blueprints to work on, and is now just sitting behind the desk, flipping randomly through a magazine.

Bridge is off in Hunting class, but one of the other library aides should be able to help you if you need it.

And now I... actually go back to sleep for a few hours, as I have the Cold From Hell. Should be around for... pretty much the entire day, though.

Angela came in looking very, very tired, but she figured Bridge could probably use some help on his first day.

He got a wave and a grunt that vaguely resembled hello as she tried to fill her coffee cup.

"Heeeeey Angela," Bridge says, looking up from the blueprints. "Mornin'."

Angela was still around, doing research for her next class on the library computer.

Tetris was research, right?

"Mornin'," Angela said, padding over to look over his shoulder. "What're you drawing?"

"Thing for Isabel," Bridge explains. "She wanted an invisible fence-thing to keep her kitten from wandering off when she leaves her door open."

"I never even thought of that for Min," Angela admitted. "And I didn't know Isabel got a kitty."

She was totally making an awwwww face.

Yeah, Rory's around if help is needed. She's tucked herself behind the desk with her laptop, but is absolutely interruptable.

"Morning," Rory greets, wandering in and over to the desk. "How's day one of aide-ness going?"

*leaves orange juice outside pillow fort*

After an unexpected detour into a teacher's office, Door shows up to return both a book on breakdancing, and the abridged Princess Bride. She waves at Bridge. "Hi, Bridge! Are you studying, or do you have a moment?"

Sam came into the library, hair sticking up, grease smudge on her cheek, wrench in her back pocket and schematics in her hands. "Bridge! Just the man I was looking for."

"I have several," Bridge says, looking up and giving Door a grin. "In a row, even. What's up?"

"She's all tiny and wee," Bridge says. "Very cute."

"Pretty good!" Bridge says. "Me and the books are getting along great."

"Hi, Sam!" Bridge says, looking up from his magazine. "Really?"

That did not make the awwwww-face go away.

"What color is she? I need to stop by and meet her sometime," Angela said. "I got Min when she was all grown up and stuff."
