Bridge arrives bright and early for his first time opening the library, and and settles in behind the desk with a notebook and schematics for the projects he's currently working on.

"Are you sure?" Sam asked innocently. "I wouldn't want to bother you, or impose if you've got something else to do? I mean, this is the kind of project that could keep your mind fully occupied for at least...a week or so."

"Of course," Sam said immediately. "Want me to make a copy of these for you, so you can look them over and get ideas?"

"That'd be awesome," Bridge says sincerely. "Thanks!"

"Cool." Sam glanced around. "Er, where's the photocopier?"

"Right over here!" Bridge says, and bounces out from behind the desk to lead Sam over to the copiers.

Sam followed. "Missed you the last couple of weeks. You lying low?"

"Yeah," Bridge admits. "Not been feeling terribly social. Did the common room thing a couple times, but..." he makes a face.

"This project could take a while," Sam promised, "plus I'd want you to make any changes you think would help--I've combined a lot of different scientific principles and parts, so it may not make much sense. Although you should take a look at Cam's swoop bike, too, since that's a straight rebuild we did."

"I'll have to ask him about that, then," Bridge says, smiling a little.

"He probably won't let you take it apart," Sam warned with a chuckle. "Cam's a little protective of it already."

"I don't *always* need to take things apart to see how they work," Bridge scoffs a little. "It's helpful, but I can totally do without that."

"I always want to, though, even when I can't. It makes my fingers itchy." She handed over the plans. "Okay, you photocopy what you think is important."
