When the students entered the Danger Shop, they would most likely notice that the room was just about empty. Except for seven chairs and a whole rack of costumes and table of accessories. Aly was perched on the table with a clipboard of names.

Once everyone was seated, she looked up and grinned. "Well, then, since you were so gracious as to come spend your Saturday with me, welcome. I have three things for each of you to do today. You're going to need to get the information, carry out the instructions, and then answer the question." She looked amused. "To do the first, you'll have to blend into the crowd. So after you all tell me your names and why you're here, I'll give you your assignment. You'll want to dress the part then we'll go from there."

[OOC: Detention should last until from 9am-5pm EDT. I'll be afk from about 4:15-7EDT but I'm more than happy to keep playing after that if you want to. As a disclaimer? This is quite possibly all silliness. If you have any questions, get me on IM: spymasteraly]

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep

"My name is Layla Williams," she said, "and I'm here because the lottery hates me. I didn't actually do anything wrong."

"What kind of assignments are these?" Layla asked. "This doesn't sound like any kind of detention I've heard of."

"I hear that's a common problem here," Aly said sympathetically. "Still now you get to spend a Saturday with all these fine people."

"What kind of detentions are you used to?" Aly asked, handing her a folded up sheet of paper.

It read:

Wait on the corner of Regent St and Picadilly for the man with a grey suit and yellow pocket square. He has the information you need, but first you need to give him the code words 'finding the lamb.'

"I guess. And this place isn't as scary looking as the detention room at my last school. Er, not that I ever saw the inside of it. 'Cause I'm good and everything."

"My name is Pip Bernadette," Pip said. "I'm here because I neglected to find a way to hide from the security cameras whilst sneaking around and delivering our own personal brand of greeting to all the professors for the new school year."

Aly shook her head sadly. "And what have you learned from that experience?"

Aly grinned. "Of course you are. Who would think otherwise?"

Layla opened the paper, her eyebrows raising a little as she read her assignment. "The kind without covert operations, really," she said.

"...Make sure I have a way to block the cameras?" Pip suggested. "Or perhaps that I shouldn't break into teacher's offices with pop-up gremilns. Or at all."

"It's detention," Aly replied with a quirk of her eyebrow. "You get to expand your horizons." She gestured to the racks of costumes and clothing. "Find what you need and let me know when you're ready?"

"I like the or at all option," Aly agreed. "But the carelessness is definitely another issue," she added with a grin.

"My name is Alanna Trebond and I punched Jamie Madox in the face." Alanna looked more than a little uncomftorable.

Alanna hovered and tried to blend in with the floor.

Aly tried not to smile. "Did he deserve it?"

"Yes." Alanna sulked.

"My name is Walter Dornez. I'm here for the same reason Pip is."

Sadly bright red hair made it difficult for blending. Especially since Aly couldn't help but keep a discreet eye on the person under the hair. She handed her a sheet of folded paper. It read:

Your contact is at the event of the season: the Duchess of York's ball. He will be wearing a boutonniere of two white rose buds and one red. The code word is 'determination.'

"Let me know if you have any questions or when you're ready," Aly said.

Walter waited patiently for his chance to get an assignment.
