Library, Wednesday, 9/13

Angela gets to the library a little late and a little windblown from the walk across campus. She straightens the sign announcing the new library aides before settling in behind the desk to review her Creature Languages homework.

The library is open and full of books and other interesting things.

The whining you hear is her trying to master the Dog vocabulary for food.

Yomiko came into the library and cast a concerned look at her whining library aide. "Angela? Are you all right?"

Angela heard Ms. Readman's voice and jumped, right in the midde of the Dog sentence //Where is the most juicy bone?//.

"Sorry. I was practicing something for my language class."

Yomiko frowned. That didn't sound like any language she knew. "What language are you taking?"

"Creature languages," Angela said. "It's kind of an omnibus class with a bunch of different animals. That was Dog."

"Ohhh," Yomiko said. "Well, I don't want to distract you from your studies."

"It's totally fine," Angela said. "I'm supposed to be working anyhow. Is there anything I can do for you? it's been quiet so far."

"Actually," Yomiko said, "I was hoping to check out Special Collections in a totally non-played out way. If I don't come out in a few hours which I totally will, la, I believe the procedure is to send someone in after me?"

A bit of worry flickered across Angela's eyes. "Even though work ate me and I didn't get to this message until the next day I'll keep an eye on it," Angela promised, then dug in a drawer for gloves. "Wear these?"
