"Hello, students of Fandom High both new and old! I am your Dean, The Tick, and these are your announcements!"

"The office workers are on vacation this week, so we have a skeleton staff making sure things keep running smoothly. Don't be alarmed. They're very friendly!"

"There seem to be no impending invasions of the island, but we do ask you to keep on guard! Gremlin spottings have increased over the summer months, not including Bob Gremlin in the office. Also, beware Locker 327! It's still very tempermental!"

"Nadia Santos should report to the Vice Principal's office at some point today."

"The there is now a small stable located on the first floor of the dorms. If you were wondering what happened to rooms 138 through 142, now you know! If you are a horse, please report to the stables by the end of the week."

"And finally, I'd like to thank everyone for welcoming our new students! It's going to be a keen year!"

There might have been cackling involved. It was probably a good thing that Pete didn't have a roommate yet.
