“All right guys. We have three meetings left, and thus it is time to start. Think of what sort of piece of Jewelry you are going to make, and plan it out. Let me know what materials you may need that are not in those cabinets over there. Try to think of everything, though I know it is difficult.”

She paused and walked around the room looking at the students.

“The workstations are available for you to work at. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves about your ideas.”

"Um. Professor Clay-type-person? I need an I.V. full of caffeine?"

There was a wee!tiny dingbot peeking out of his shirt pocket and waving.

Agatha araised an eyebrow. "You need a what? And who's yoru friend?"

"Caffeine? It's this great substance. Mana of the gods. Working ingredient in coffee, tea, and sodas that makes you not sleep."

He looked at the shirtpocket dingbot for a minute. "Y'know, I don't think I named it last night. Or him. Or her. Do dingbots have genders?"

"I don't think so. Nor do they tend to have names..."

"You don't name 'em? Why not?"

she shrugged. "never thought of it. why, do you name your car or bicycle?"

"Yep. Makes it easier to swear at it."

"i see. well, i don't do that..."

"YOu should. Very cathartic, and usually less destructive than vigorous percussive maintenence. With a sledge."

"hm, perhaps"
