Harper tapped a control and the virtual workshop expanded in size.

"Now, when you're a mechanical genius like myself," he said without any trace of false modesty. "You'll often be asked to create physics defying contraptions on the fly. Often with parts that are, well, junk. Turning trash into treasure is perhaps your most valuable survival skill. Your job today is to take the parts in this room and create something that might help you survive. No weapons."

He is! He likes his toys and I think he slept behind the No Fishing sign last night. I can't really tell when fish are sleeping but he stayed there a long time!

He was pretty active yesterday so I don't know how much he explored. But lights for the tank might be cool! Can watch him swim at night!

I got invited to Bel's sake party. We played I never. I got pretty drunk.

John's attention to wakefullness is punctuated by a wee!tiny pocketwatch....with arms and legs....moving around in his shirt pocket and poking him when he falls asleep.
