After leaving a note at the Danger Shop directing the students to the gym, Coach GOB Bluth began to set things up. When the students arrived, they would find him in his game-day suit with a whistle around his neck and a clipboard in his hand. On the clipboard was a sign-up sheet.

"Hi there. We have a basketball game today and we need to get it set up. That's going to be your job. You'll also have to do the little things around the bench during the game. Getting your team water, giving motivational speeches so I don't have to, crap like that. Whatever they need. You can leave when the game is over."

"Go Gremlins."

[OOC: ~~Wait for~~ OCD is up. The detention post will cover you through lunch, then you should participate in the game posts to whatever degree you would like or find appropriate. For leaving, use the rough guideline of 5:00, or whenever the game is over. I will actually be AFK for the entire afternoon, so this detention will be light on the GOB interaction. Hopefully I'm giving enough to keep you busy.]

"Are you kidding me?" Blair asked. "You can write? I mean...you wrote a book?"

"I've written two books," GOB said. "Magic for Morons: The Secrets of Illusion Revealed for Schmucks Like You, also available on GOBstore.com."

"Do you get a lot of people buying books that insult them?" Blair tried to be aloof but the mention of magic was way too exciting and he bounced. "Do you still perform magic at Caritas? When's your next show?"

But he was not going to go to the website and buy that book. Maybe he could check it out at the library.

"It's a theme for instructional books. They always call people dummies and idiots," GOB said.

"I'm too busy running Caritas to perform. Maybe sometime soon, who knows?"

"I wonder what that says about our society." Blair's research genes were itching to go write a paper about that, but again the prospect of magic distracted him. "I'd love to come see it, if you do! I hear you call people from the audience to come on stage and help with the magic. Is that true?"

"It says there are a lot of idiots who need help," GOB said, breaking the idea down to its base componants. "Yeah, I've done the volunteer from the audience schtick before. It's usually fun enough."

"Right on, man." Blair bounced. "That so totally rocks."

"It does," GOB said. "So, which shirt are you taking?"

"Gremlin equipment manager." Blair slipped the shirt on and looked down at it. "It's the least offensive one, if more insulting."

"That's the trade-off," GOB said, smiling.

"Well, at least I get to be a manager." Blair bounced. "That's sorta cool, right?"

"No," GOB said, pointing to the shirt. "It's really not cool."

"Says you." Blair looked down. "And the shirt. But I'm sure that someone out there thinks that being a manager is cool."

"Losers and other equipment managers," GOB said.

"See? I'm part of a brotherhood of fellow equipment managers." Blair bounced excitedly. "I wonder if we have a union."
