Festivus in July, Fandom High front lawn, Friday afternoon

Sometime during morning workshops, when no one was paying nearly enough attention except those concerned, the Fandom High schoolgrounds had filled with snow.

For the record, "those concerned" meant Rory Gilmore and several dozen snow cone distributors from the mainland. But who wants to ruin the illusion? Students who were curious might assume that it was simply a Festivus in July miracle, or some such.

In the middle of the lawn stood a bare, aluminum pole. Festivus tradition, you know.

[Yes, the schoolgrounds have snow. I'm weathermodding and saying it's cool enough today through this evening for it to stick, and it'll melt overnight. And yes, we're having Festivus in July. For those not in the know, here is a handy Wiki link! Please wait for OCD. Up, yay!]

"Yes, I was there early in the evening. Caught up with a few people. The school is getting too big, damnit. No more new people!" She grimaced. "Like I can convince anyone of that."

"They'll be even squeakier and bouncier than Blair. Or MacBeth." Parker contemplated that with mild dread. "I vote we induct them via dunking in the duck pond."

Angela snorted. "I'm planning on just ignoring them as not worth my time. You know, since we'll be all senioriffic and stuff."

"Heh. True. I'm only learning their names if they annoy me. So I can curse them effectively." Parker grinned widely. "Seeeeniors. Ruling the schooooool. There should be extra special benefits to this. Angel said that last year, but they never thought of anything in time."

"We've had a whole year to learn to work as a machine," Angela said. "So we should be able to come up with all kinds of stuff."

Parker looked thoughtful, eyes gleaming. "Trips off-island when we want? Or extra parties? Maybe a senior clubhouse of some kind?" She grinned, and picked up some snow, forming a small snowball. "Must remember to tell this to Liz and Alanna, for StuCo to propose. OOooo. Senior Trip!"

"Count on it." Parker grinned. "How's Marty? I haven't seen him around since the cabins. Although I ran into Nadio on Wednesday, so he must be glad she's back."
