Festivus in July, Fandom High front lawn, Friday afternoon

Sometime during morning workshops, when no one was paying nearly enough attention except those concerned, the Fandom High schoolgrounds had filled with snow.

For the record, "those concerned" meant Rory Gilmore and several dozen snow cone distributors from the mainland. But who wants to ruin the illusion? Students who were curious might assume that it was simply a Festivus in July miracle, or some such.

In the middle of the lawn stood a bare, aluminum pole. Festivus tradition, you know.

[Yes, the schoolgrounds have snow. I'm weathermodding and saying it's cool enough today through this evening for it to stick, and it'll melt overnight. And yes, we're having Festivus in July. For those not in the know, here is a handy Wiki link! Please wait for OCD. Up, yay!]

"Good, because it should be clear by now," he said sternly, his tone at odds with his grin.

"Yes, it is very clear," Molly said with an exaggerated sigh of sadness. "I am very mean. But, what are ya gonna do?" She shook her head sadly.

Molly jerked back a little. "No, I don't think that's a good idea," she said.

"I think that's a very good idea," Cameron said with a look in his eyes that suggested he wasn't up to much good.

"No, it really isn't," Molly said, starting to back away.

"It really really is," Cameron was sure this was the way to getting secrets out.

Molly watched him carefully, relaxing a little as he made no move to follow through on his threat. "It wouldn't work," she said. "I will not divulge my information."

"I can try," he smirked and made a move as if to start tickling her.

"EEP!" Molly jumped up and started to back away quickly. "Gotta go now. Bye!" Then she turned and took off.

Cameron laughed, but he was too lazy to get up and chase after her. At least now he had some leverage against the teasing he was sure to have.
