Detention- Saturday July 22

When the students entered the Danger Shop on Saturday they will notice that it has been transformed into a giant kitchen. If someone felt like counting they would see that there was one oven, one fridge and one counter space for each person. Lying on a huge table in the center of the room was almost every kind of food imaginable. The Swedish Chef and Das Schnitzel were standing beside the table. The Chef looked positively giddy.

There was a list of names written on a dry erase board:

When everyone had assembled the Chef began to speak. "Velcume-a tu detenshun stoodents! I dun't knoo vhet yuoo deed tu get in here und I du nut vunt tu knoo. Yuoo ere-a ell leettle-a angels in my iyes."

Hopefully everyone would ignore the fact that the Chef had no eyes, so to speak. Just two bushy eyebrows. "Tudey's acteevities veell revulve aruoond cuukeeng und ootheer chef-ly duuteees. Yuoo veell leern vhet it is like tu be-a me. Isn't thet exceeting? Bork Bork Bork!"

The Chef directed the students to three trunks lying in the corner of the kitchen.

"In oorder tu be a chef yuoo moost luuk like-a a chef! Yuoo cunnut cuuk weereeng yuoor nurmel cluthees. Chef-ing is messy vurk." said the Chef. Das Schnitzel nodded in agreement. "Su fur yuoor furst acteefity I vunt yuoo tu luuk thruoogh zee troonks und peeck oooot yuoor outffeets. Zee mure-a culurs und checkers, zee better!"

"One ooff zee must impurtunt skeells yuoo cun hefe-a is peuple-a skeells. Peuple-a skeells ere-a fery impurtunt in cheff-ing. How else-a veell yuoo knoo vhet zee peuple-a vunt?" started the Chef, who seemed to be taking this speech very seriously. "So eech ooff yuoo sit et a steshun und yuoo veell iech be veesited by a coostumer. Du yuoor best tu meke-a heem/her/it cumffurteble. I hefe-a mede-a enuoogh meels fur yuoo thet yuoo cun serfe-a zeem pretty mooch vhetefer zeey vunt."

"Joost remember: Zee coostumer is elveys reeght. Bork Bork Bork!"

Ironically the Chef forgot to make lunch during all the excitement of planning the detention. So he's got take-out from Ching-Tai.

The Chef left the Danger Shop for a few minutes and came back with a very big and very real Muppet Moose. His name was Maurice but that wasn't important. The Chef and Maurice stood in the middle of the room.

"Chef-ing is dungeruoos vurk. Yuoo get burns, cuts...wheepped creem in zee eye-a. Und sumeteemes yuoor fuud joost vun't cuuperete-a veet yuoo." says the Chef. He then gestures to Maurice. "Muuses ere-a notoriuus fur nut coopereteeng. Su fur thees acteefity I vuoold leeke all ooff yuoo tu try tu cunveence-a thees muuse tu becume chuculete muuse. Pooddeeng veell be-a pruveeded."

Das Schnitzel led Maurice out of the Danger Shop. The Chef began to sit bowls of various foods onto each of the counters. Mashed potatoes, spaghetti, jello, pudding, lima beans, sloppy joes...all sorts of messy stuff. When he was finished he opened up a cabinet and pulled out a rain coat. It was the only one in the room.

"Fuud feeghts ere-a inefeeteble-a in cheff-ing. Und seence-a I tuld yuoo thet yuoo veell leern iferytheeng ebuoot beeeng a cheff ve are-a gueeng tu hefe-a oone-a. Yuoo moost be-a prepered! ~~Constant vigilance!~~ Su iferyune-a teke-a yuoor steshuns und vhee I bloo zee vheestle-a fire-a evey!"

"Dun't furgut! Yuur goal is tu noot gut heut vit fuud!"

*whiste-ly sound*

It's 5 o' clock! Time to go!

Annnnnnnd I'm done! I'll ping here if any need for me to leave arises.

Cameron signed in.

Cameron started rummaging through one of the trunks and pulled out a short sleeve chef coat (http://www.chefwork.com/shirts/pcss.htm), a cotton bib (http://www.chefwork.com/logosplus/italian.htm) and matching beanie (http://www.chefwork.com/images/headwear/beannies.jpg).

Cameron wasn't exactly in the best of moods, but he did his best to look cheerful as he took place behind one of the stations and waited for his costumer to show up. Considering he was in detention, he really did have a bad feeling about this.

A muppet-y looking pig in heels walked up to Cameron. She placed her purse on the counter and flipped her long hair. She laughed softly.

"Hello. I was wondering if you could by any chance give moi something to eat." she says "I'm practically skin and bones!"

This clearly wasn't the case.

There was a second of staring, but then he remembered where he was and realised that this wasn't so strange after all. "Of course, ma'am. Was there anything in particular you were craving?"

Miss. Piggy laughed another girly laugh. "Oh I'll just start out small. I'll need an order of onion rings, a salad, french fries and a BLT...hold the B."

She pulls out the chair and sits down. She flips her hair again. "You're cute."

Having quickly written down her order, Cameron blinked and almost made a remark about how that was supposed to be small. He looked up at the cute remark. "Uh thank you, ma'am. That's onion rings, a salad, french fries and a BLT without the B," he repeated, checking to make sure he got that right. "Do you want anything to drink with that?"

"Diet Coke. Girl has to watch her figure after all." says Miss. Piggy "Even though my frog says he does like a pleasantly plump woman. Or he better say that if he doesn't want to end up being served a knuckle sandwich."

"Your frog?" Cameron couldn't help but ask while he got her her drink, but at least it kept him from trying to think of a response to the figure remark.

Miss. Piggy scowled. "Yes. My frog. My lovely Kermee. I love him and he loves me. He better love me or else I'll have the Chef serve frog legs to you kids." says Miss Piggy, revealing her not-so-ladylike disposition.

"You have a problem with frog love kid?" asked Miss. Piggy with a deadly (well as deadly as a muppet can get) look in her eye.

"No, ma'am," Cameron said quickly. "I think it's great that you and Kermee have found love."

He was not going to flail, but he could make a runner for it. "If you'll excuse me. I think your order is ready," he motioned towards the kitchen and quickly fled to get her food. When he returned and placed her food before her, he was looking a bit less flaily.

Miss. Piggy dug into her onion rings as only a pig could. Bits of food went flying in different directions.

By the time she got to her BLT it was a wonder that anybody could eat that much so quickly. She took a bite of her sandwich. But instead of gobbling it down she chewed it slowly. Like somebody who had found something that wasn't supposed to be there. She quickly spit her bite into a napkin

"Do you know what this is?" asked Miss. Piggy calmly. But that deadly look was back.

She held up a piece of half-chewed B. Yes, bacon.

Cameron had been doing his best not to stare at Miss Piggy's eating. When she held out the bacon, he blushed uncomfortably.

"It's bacon, ma'am. I'm sorry there must have been a mistake. I can get you another sandwich," he quickly offered.

"I don't want another sandwich! Well...I do, but that's not the point." said Miss. Piggy vehmently. "Do you know what bacon is made of? Pig. Do you know what I am? A pig!"

"You have made me a cannibal!" she yelled dramatically, throwing her arms in the air.
