Veronica might have appeared more subdued than usual when her students arrived this morning.

"Morning," she said. "I hope you all remembered to wear old clothes. Today we're going to learn the process of film developing." She gave them a handout and briefly went over it.

"Okay, I think you're ready to hit the darkroom," she said, forcing a smile. "I'll be here if you have any questions."

Once they were finished developing their photos, Veronica let them wash their hands and then instructed them to take seats in the classroom again so they could brainstorm their prompts for next week before dismissing them.

"We had a nice time," Veronica said. "Somehow our reservation got screwed up and we ended up in the honeymoon suite though."

"There was champagne and a hot tub and the most amazingly decadent bed I've ever seen in my life," Veronica said.

"We didn't have a hot tub," Rory remarked thoughtfully. "Um. That sounds...fun, though. Romantic."

"It was nice," Veronica said.

Rory nodded. "It sounds it. Maybe I'll start trying to get the honeymoon suite whenever I travel. Just 'cause it sounds fun."

"It was a total fluke," Veronica assured her. "I booked us in a regular room. There was some computer glitch that landed us in that room."

"Lucky," Rory said, smiling. "Our room at the Four Seasons was gorgeous, but there was no hot tub, and whenever I have flukes in travel plans it always results in my getting bumped back to coach or something."

"It really was a stroke of much-deserved luck," Veronica agreed. "Of course, we're probably the first couple who didn't... um..." she blushed and looked down.

Rory blushed in sympathy. "Oh. Yeah, probably the first. Or at least the first couple that still left happy."
