Veronica might have appeared more subdued than usual when her students arrived this morning.

"Morning," she said. "I hope you all remembered to wear old clothes. Today we're going to learn the process of film developing." She gave them a handout and briefly went over it.

"Okay, I think you're ready to hit the darkroom," she said, forcing a smile. "I'll be here if you have any questions."

Once they were finished developing their photos, Veronica let them wash their hands and then instructed them to take seats in the classroom again so they could brainstorm their prompts for next week before dismissing them.

Cameron really wasn't all too sure about the good part. "I am so so sooo sorry about last night," he started right away.

Cameron went quiet as answering that would mean confessing to remembering the night and he'd really just pretend he didn't. "For being a drunk idiot?" There, nice and vague.

"What makes you think you were a drunk idiot?" Veronica was enjoying this far too much.

Cameron did his best gold fish impression. "Because I'm having weird flashbacks about you throwing an icebucket over us?"

Veronica smirked. "I may have done that, yes. Do you recall the events leading up to that?"

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Veronica asked, leaning closer. "I didn't quite hear you."

"I brought you coffee," he tried to evade having to answer again by holding out the cup.

"Thank you," Veronica said, taking the cup and lifting it to her lips to hide her smirk.

"So, did I miss out on the boykissy?" she asked conversationally.

Cameron flailed. "What? No! No kissing. I don't do boys!"

Flaily Cameron was really amusing. "You two looked awfully friendly last night," Veronica pointed out. "And according to radio, Jack put you to bed."

"Oh god, please tell me you're kidding," Cameron groaned.

"Kidding about what?" Veronica asked innocently, taking another sip of coffee.

"That they said that one the radio?" Camero ngave her a pleading look as if he was hoping that if they did, she could change it.

"How else would I have known?" Veronica asked. "I went back to work while you two staggered off into the sunset."

"Right." Clearly his brain wasn't all that awake yet. "Is there anything else I should know?"

"I don't know. What all do you remember?" Veronica asked.

That ears turning pink thing? So happening again. "I remember green drinks and thingies and calling you V-thingie for which both Jack and I apologise," he started summing up, but he started to mumble more and more as he continued. "And then I got pissed and we went outside and there was fighting and icecubes and singing and you said you loved us."

Veronica was trying really hard to hide her laughter behind her coffee cup.

"That about sums it up," she said. "Though that wasn't exactly what I said. I believe I told you both to talk to me when sober."

With a pointed look at his sunglasses, Veronica replied, "I don't think you're entirely sober yet though."

"Fine, have it your way," he rolled his eyes and let out a deep sigh. "I really am sorry for any drunk and jerkish behaviour I let myself get caught in to last night."

"Apology accepted," Veronica said easily. "You guys were actually pretty amusing. It definitely wasn't the worst part of my night."
