Detention - 07/15

As the students entered the Danger Shop on this lovely silent morning (Miho hasn't noticed any difference yet), they found four desks set up in a semi-circle around a teacher's desk, upon which sat a freshly-baked blueberry pie and a sign-in sheet. Miho sat behind the desk, looking prim and disapproving. On the wall behind her was a large blackboard. On one side of the board was written in large letters, DO NOT TOUCH THE PIE. On the other side was a list, which Miho crossed off as the students entered.

Briar Moss
Peter Parker
Nadia Santos
Sam Winchester

((OOC: Wait for the OCD. OCD is up! Getting this up before I go to bed, so do not expect me to respond for a while.))

Peter waved to Sam as he walked casually toward the pie. He tried to indicate that the sneaking wasn't so important as long as you could stop.

It looked more like he was miming throwing a chicken.

Sam wasn't sure what Peter was getting at, but he did stop focusing on the ninja, and sped his movements up to match Peter's.

The strange thing about Peter Parker is that even when he was unable to talk, he still talked. His mouth continued moving - possibly it was a rundown of the rules of Red Light Green Light - but he started to gesture more broadly. He apparently felt that the rules were probably the light version of the ninja-fied rules and if they weren't in the school, getting caught would probably result in decapitation, as depicted by Peter miming chopping his own head off with an imaginary sword.

He had a feeling none of this was getting through. The important thing was that he continued to blather on in his own head.

Peter paused mid-gesture, his imaginary sword stuck almost all the way through his neck, and his mouth hanging open.

He had to laugh a little at the ridiculousness of his current pose. That laughing made him shift slightly. Some might have called it a step.

Peter gave a tiny shrug and stayed still after that.

Peter was getting tired of this, so he decided to speed up his forward motion. He quickly leaped forward and to his left. With a couple more jumps, he could reach the pie. He stared at Miho, trying to judge if she would turn around, then jumped forward again.

Peter cursed as he landed. Nobody heard him, though.

Sam stopped moving and tried to hold still, almost thankful he didn't have a voice with which to make any improper noises.

Sam took the opportunity of Miho turning back around to start gesturing at Peter. He could only interpret the throat slitting as some kind of threat, and he was trying to convey that there was no need for anything like that.
