Basketball, gym, 9 a.m. FHT

Tyler does not look entirely awake yet as he practices dribbling the ball around the court. But looking half-asleep isn't exactly unusual for him.

"Hey," he greets his teammates. "I know some of you probably want to get to the baseball game, so short practice today. Stretch out, jump rope for five minutes, sink ten baskets and then go do whatever you want to do."

"Oh, shut up," Tempe replied. "Usually, my coordination is much better than this. Maybe if someone hadn't kept me up all night..."

Sawyer laughed. "I didn't hear you complaining." Sticking his tongue out at her again.

"I wasn't, at that point," Tempe replied, snickering. "Until I showed up for basketball practice and realized that I'd gotten approximately 2.5 seconds of sleep last night."

"Did you like your gift though? Was it worth the 2.5 seconds of sleep." Getting up from the mats to properly tackle her down in them. "It's shiney. Girls like shiney."

"Ack!" Tempe cried as she was tackled, but giggled as she hit the ground.

He held a finger up to his mouth. "Shh. Don't say it too loud or we'll be all over the radio for being too sappy at Basketball practice. But I love you." He leans down and pecks her mouth. "Goood. I did well then." Proud of himself as he shuffles to his feet, pulling her up with him.
