The all too familiar opening chords of Europe's The Final Countdown sounded and after a short delay for dramatic effect, GOB danced out onto the auditorium stage. He pulled blue and gold handkerchief chains out of both sleeves (which was difficult with a hand still in a cast) until the chains clearly met in the middle underneath his shirt. A large burst of smoke appeared on stage and when it cleared, the handkerchiefs had turned into two cages of doves. One of the doves fell over in the cage, choking on the smoke.

Over the next couple minutes he disappeared cards, linked and unlinked rings, and made his cast say "GO GREMLINS." It was slightly more impressive than should normally be expected from GOB.

When the music wound down, GOB stepped up to the microphone. "Welcome, ladies, gentlemen, and others. Today you will witness the finest example of amateur talent you have ever seen. Unless they suck. If they suck, you should make sure they know they suck. Not just today. Boo them this weekend, too. They'll deserve it for making me a liar."

"Anyway, let's hear it for today's acts!"

React to Marie's song.

"YAY!" Willow applauded loudly. "Best song ever!"

"Woooooooooooo, yeah! Way to go, Marie!" yelled Conner, whistling in that ear-piercingly emphatic way that some people have mastered and most other people really, really wish they hadn't.

He crossed his arms and grinned. "I knew it was the perfect song for her."

Anders wasn't whistling, but he was cheering. He had thought Marie would be too shy to perform in front of everyone, so this was pretty impressive.

Hopefully she wouldn't notice the slightly quizzical look on his face.

Bel applauded, then remembered he hadn't spoken to Marie yet about the radio. He decided to catch her after the talent show.

Kaylee was cheering loudly. "Yay Marie!"

Tyler applauded. The music wasn't really his taste, but Marie obviously had talent.

Aeryn applauds to that. Sh, she kind of likes the song for some weird reason.

This was a pleasant change after Griffin's rap. Peter applauded. He always had a soft spot for Gershwin.

Parker applauded, appreciating both the song and Marie's performance of it. A huge relief, really, compared to some of the acts.

Cordelia smiles, impressed at Marie's talent.

John thinks that song gets rid of the bad images quite nicely. He applauds loudly.

Chloe clapped happily. Yay for people who could actually sing!

Piper cheered and applauded for Marie. At least she can sing.

Tim applauded enthusiastically. "Well done!"

Knowing how anxious she was this past week made Kawalsky a little anxious as the song started. But when he heard her sing and play, she had his undivided attention. As the song came to an end, he broke out into a grin and clapped harder than he had for anyone.

About 8 Jamies woot and holler for Marie off stage as they wait to go on stage!
