Flight & Flying [Friday morning]

The flight shed was closed when the workshop arrived. "Today we're heading up to Selkie Cove," Anakin said, smiling. "We're going to hang glide off the cliff. And before you ask, yes, there are helmets involved."

He looked around at them all. "And if you fall, I can catch you. But do us all a favor and don't let go, okay?"

[OOC: Up early because I'm out of town beginning tomorrow. Anakin'll be super quiet, so please don't try to plunge to your deaths.]

"Maybe one of my neighbors. Oh, no, Jack is out of town, though," Rory said. "So...who else lives near me? Oh wait! You do!"

"It'll be fun!" she said encouragingly. "He doesn't need a lot. Just a snack every now and then and to not go out in the sunshine. You'll barely notice he's around."

Aeryn stops herself from asking the question again. "You know I have very little experience with dogs. Sean was Angel's pet."

"I'd never had a dog before Vladdie," Rory pointed out. "And Anakin knows nothing aboud dogs and he watched him for me when I was gone for a few days. If Anakin can, you shouldn't have any problems. Please? I'll owe you one...."

She shrugs. "Maybe he can watch the sea monkeys or something. ...He won't eat the sea monkeys, will he?"

Rory shook her head. "He just drinks his blood out of wee bottles that I'll leave with you. Never really shown an interest in eating anything else. He'll probably try to play with them, if he figures out they're possible friends."

After enough time practically living in 238, the blood doesn't even freak Aeryn out. "I'll just put the tank up higher- No, that doesn't really work. I'll figure something out."

"Yeah, and that reminds me that sometimes he likes to hang out on the ceiling. I don't know why," Rory said, shrugging.

"Walkies!" Rory repeated. "On his leash. And really, it should be flyies, since Vladdie doesn't do a lot of walking."

"And really, it's only for two days, so it shouldn't be too hard," Rory decided. "Thank you. I owe you...cookies or something. I'll figure something out."

"Want a turtle, too? Knowing him, there haven't been arrangements made," Rory said, glancing in Anakin's direction. "Though maybe we should just take him with us. Yoda might like New York."

"Yoda doesn't like walks," Rory said, frowning. "Or hanging out in common rooms. Or sitting on people's heads."
