"Just because it's out last lesson doesn't mean I'm going easy on you," Callisto said, pointing to the lockers. "Clothes and shoes."

"Now that we've got that out of the way," Callisto said. "Today's class is going to be something of a test, to see how well you actually listened to me over the pst few weeks."

Callisto picked up a large piece of paper. "Now, somewhere in this preserve is this person." She turned over the paper. "Your mission, should you want your shoes and clothes back, is to use the skills I've taught you to hunt down and capture... this kid with doofy hair. Because unless you've brought him back here by the end of class? I'm keeping your stuff. Have fun."

Callisto made shooing motions with her hands. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

Alec took off on his own. This was like the hunting exercises he was used to, except the object wasn't to beat the prey to death with your bare hands at the end of it.

Well, he was pretty sure that wasn't the goal, anyway.

Greg would hope so too, if he knew about that particular detail.

In any case, a bush near Alec stirred when Greg threw a rock into it, and then fell silent again.

Alec stopped immediately and listened for other movement - not only from the bush, but around where he stood, turning to look at the surrounding woods as well.

And everything was quiet, since even Greg has a decent survival instinct, yo.

Alec snorted lightly and left the area, then rounded back carefully to see if anything decided to move when it thought he was gone.

Something might have been humming a little out of boredom.

Could've been bees, though.

Bees didn't bother him. And he was sneaky enough that bees might not have seen him either, as he crept up ~~with intent to kill~~ slowly.

Greg might have even been humming a song about bees, in fact.

Stupid, stupid, oblivious boy.

Alec eased closer still and reached out, grabbing at the back of Greg's shirt. He could tackle him, if need be, but that seems a little much for an exercise. "Gotcha!"

"Eep!" said Greg, flailing a bit. "Don't kill me?"

"Okay." Alec's grin might not have been very reassuring. "But we're going back to camp, so I can get my clothes back."

"But it's not supposed to be easy," Greg said, looking for escape routes.

"Believe me," Alec said, smirking. "You don't want this to be difficult." Twisting his grip in Greg's t-shirt, he aimed him unerringly back towards the clearing.

"Look! Girls who are naked and possibly loud while in bed!" Greg cried, pointing.

"Man, you've got to be kidding me," Alec said derisively. But there may have been a faint edge of uncertainty to that...

"Seriously, look!" Greg called, attempting to squirm away.

Okay, seriously, he couldn't not look. It was a compulsion. He wasn't pr-- Okay, maybe he was proud of it.

So he looked, and his grip probably loosened quite a bit as he did so.

And thus Greg sprinted off into the woods again, laughing a little as he did so.
