Karate, Gym, June 28th, Wednesday Morning
"Morning, everyone," Tommy greets. "Today's lesson is going to be on the Squirrel style." He gestures to a table at the front of the room, upon which are laid out several different kinds of weapons (practice weapons, of course. nothing live here.)- both traditional and, well... not. There's also a row of practice dummies set up at one end of the room.
"The Squirrel style is all about using whatever you can pick up at the time," Tommy explains. "Sometimes, you may have a sword, or other conventional weapon. Sometimes... you may not," he says, as he picks up a set of measuring cups and whips towards a practice dummy.
[ooc: handwave whatever you want to find to use as a weapon!]

The great Squirrely spirit must have called to him when he picked his cabin.
Currently, he's whipping plastic toy action figures at the dummies at high speeds.

"Pen warfare," Bob said from his spot on the sidelines of class. "Is that a new technique you plan to teach us?"
"No. No. No new techniques," Tyler grunted out as he kept throwing pens. His shaking hands made his accuracy pretty poor.

Bester walks a wide circle around herself and the targeted mannequin. "You can't even fight someone without your abilities, can you?" he says, grinning. His gloved hands are clasped behind his back as he pauses, regarding her.
Lyta's accuracy improves. And this time, the acorn doesn't fall from the eye. "Shut up," she mutters through clenched teeth.

But normally his head didn't feel four times its normal size and normally nobody had turned the volume up on everything to ear piercing and the light to blinding. Somehow a fighting class first didn't seem like that great an idea right now.
But here he was, alive and... alive.
He moved slowly and gingerly, half afraid his head would fall off if he moved any faster as he looked over the selection of weapons and potential weapons available.
